I had the opportunity to be his focus for a masterclass about a year prior, on a solo piece I was working on at the time. Had I not known his profession I could have never guessed- easygoing as can be and incredibly humble. The honor of my life to work with him.
He’s the guest artist at a band camp I’m at right now! I’ve been fan girling over him this whole time. He’s gonna play for us tomorrow and give a masterclass to the trumpets.
I was in a music camp with Allen a million years ago and even then one could see his blinding talent. I feel fortunate to have heard him in his younger years.
He looks like he's just over it. You can tell he's rehearsed this so many times that it's practically nothing. The tone production is flawless. Absolutely beautiful piece!
Mr. Vizzutti is my absolute favorite trumpet player. He has it all, mechalical precision, perfect intonation, human feeling, musical appreciation, total virtuosity!
Definitely, imo he’s the greatest of all time. He’s at my band camp rn and he’s going to perform for us tomorrow! I’m so lucky to be able to hear and learn from someone of his calibre
I'd seen it before Twoset made their video, but I was very disappointed that they didn't cover the spectacular ending, or the 180˚ flip that he does in the third variation. So I came back to watch it again 😂
Wow! Better than Wynton Marsalis' version, which was the best I've ever heard until now. Unbelievable control on those final notes. (From an old, beaten-down trumpet player who struggled mightily through Herbert Clark's and Arban's etudes and studies and only dreamed of being half as good as this guy.)
My band teacher told us that one time he was at a concert that he was performing and that he was a nice guy I don't really remember what he said but that's what I remember our band teacher told us when he showed this video
I have his mouthpiece. Very shallow, but range and tone are perfect. I am only in high school and my range WAS a high D with very little practice using the mouthpiece. I said was because I had to get braces two days after getting the mouthpiece(on my birthday), and two weeks before I had to play at a wedding. I can't wait to use it again! And no one can play as good as Allen Norris-Vizzutti.
Sound quality per se is superb, they did an excellent job recording of ambient room sound, which isn't the same as a studio recording or the sound you'd get in a cathedral.
He plays on Yamaha for the same reason Canadian Brass plays on Yamaha, it's easy to replace if the airline loses it, I'm sure he doesn't love the Yamaha horns, but he's not going to buy a nice Monette when there's a good chance the airline is going to lose it.
Actually, many people that have met him and rehearsed with him have said he's a pretty easy going and nice guy to work with.
Kelly Goerbig I had a master class with him in college. He is a pretty chill laid-back guy.

my band is going to be playing alongside him in a few months, cant wait cuz he seems like a cool dude
@@cadet5831 I'm assuming it's happened by now but how was it?
He’s the guest artist at a band camp I’m at right now! I’ve been fan girling over him this whole time. He’s gonna play for us tomorrow and give a masterclass to the trumpets.
Bro honestly such a chad at 2:03 , he's like: "hmpf, yah whatever, I've played it better before" *while frickin nailing it*
I was in a music camp with Allen a million years ago and even then one could see his blinding talent. I feel fortunate to have heard him in his younger years.
Que maravilla de trompeta
He looks like he's just over it. You can tell he's rehearsed this so many times that it's practically nothing. The tone production is flawless. Absolutely beautiful piece!

His clarity on C above the staff is unbelievable.
Allen: This is like Mary Had a Little Lamb...but easier.
He's played this piece so many times he looks bored.
ikr man
Don’t listen him. That’s all.
I like the part where he plays...
3:25 and this is why we love Mr. Vizzutti.
There are a lot of trumpet players with great range, but surely he has the greatest.

I'd seen it before Twoset made their video, but I was very disappointed that they didn't cover the spectacular ending, or the 180˚ flip that he does in the third variation. So I came back to watch it again 😂

Yamaha's are still awesome horns
Allen Vizzutti blinks so much when he plays lol
now I can't unsee it
Mr. Vizzutti is so great he seems like he is bored when he plays. He can do so many amazing things on a trumpet.
un autentico mostro

Simplemente espectacular!!
Ален Визутти это уникум.

Virtuoso
I’m not even a trumpeter but I can see TwoSet did not even close react to the best parts of this xD

GRANDIOSO, IMPRESIONANTE, BRAVO MAESTRO
Фантастика!!!
This is THE guy who wrote this piece.
ahahah, simpatico, e bravo, naturalmente!
My band teacher told us that one time he was at a concert that he was performing and that he was a nice guy I don't really remember what he said but that's what I remember our band teacher told us when he showed this video

Вот это да! Брависсимо!!!
Showman extraordinaire.

What mouthpiece does he use?
Instant favourite.
Allen Vizzutti is such a badass.
I have to agree with you! Haha
El mejor de todos.
He is a machine
Who would dare dislike?? :(
That guy beams full "been there, done that" vibes
Donde fue eso!? Gracias! Virtuoso como siempre Vizzutti!
the man looks like David Thewlis. am I the only one who sees it?
3:25 showoff
Its Showbiz
Incredibly sound
I've never seen a main tuning slide that square! Anyone know what make of (b flat) horn that is?
A Yamaha sponsored event and the likelihood that he's playing his horn designed by the same make it likely that it's a Yamaha. Best
it's probably based off of a bach
Que efecto hace al principio?
but he still plays amazingly well on a yamaha.
@stewie464 Look up vizzutti mouthpiece. Its Yamaha.
SUPER COOL
Mid solo- " Huh. I have to renew my driver's license next month."
Great!
que fuerza al momento de tocar
Buena música!!
That's it. I quit.
W O W !
Que técnica, ni colorado se pone en las agudas!!!!!!!!
So is this Venus and Venice put together? ;O
Great technique
Is that doc sevrinson?
Belo.
Grande
I am about to by that piccolo trumpet and I am very good at playing. Allen Vizzutti is my next door naibor
The music is great, but the quality of the sound! would you please!
Sound quality per se is superb, they did an excellent job recording of ambient room sound, which isn't the same as a studio recording or the sound you'd get in a cathedral.
what does mean "superb"?
Jefferson Trovão Cantanhede superb=same to excellent :)
3:16 DAAAAAAM
El mejor de todos.
es la New York
Hey look! It's Prof. Remus Lupin
but he's good enough for that
The part where he spins the trumpet is part of his act... i saw him play as a guest with a big band and he did the same thing
allen vizzuti on monette horns would be like being on an acid high. Holy crap this needs to happen and i dont care if hes a yamaha musician
Why does he looks like Professional Lupin 🐺
Den la cara puñetas de una vez por todas y digan a quién no le gustó está joya!! Jajajaja
sick...
which kind of mouthpiece is it?
So this is where trumpet hang hangs out
3:14
I don't know that Professor Lupin play trumpet
I can believe how clear his C is
Кнш эта версия красивая тоже,но оригинал нравится больше
HAHA pez ...truee!!
Say Heah, Yeah he's good.,,. p
I’m not sure whether to be impressed or intimidated or just terrified
I’m such a noob compared to him lol 😂
dont worry about it.. I think almost everyone is in comparison haha
Yep, aren’t we all
que trompete é esse?
is a yamaha ytr-9335vs
wow! it cost too much I think! thanks by answer .
It cost EUR 4.504,34
It seems a very good trumpet but I'm not interested because I already have a bach artisan stradivarius
Allen is the trumpet equivalent to like Hillary Hahn
wouldn't you, if you sounded like that? :-D I would!
Versión por demás de libre para mi gusto. Prefiero la del Arban, aunque reconozco que es un muy buen trompetista.
goodluck
goodlike =) 3 people play saxophon XD
I'm pretty sure he's been playing that same horn for decades... it's clearly making him money
He plays on Yamaha for the same reason Canadian Brass plays on Yamaha, it's easy to replace if the airline loses it, I'm sure he doesn't love the Yamaha horns, but he's not going to buy a nice Monette when there's a good chance the airline is going to lose it.
New Maurice andre
anyone here from TwoSetViolin
at least he has very nice tone on those high notes
No Mr. Vizzutti.. You're Bb trumpet is not an Eb trumpet..
