Even though the EXO vocal trinity top notch but chanyeol’s voice is actually my favourite.
This is such a feel good song as expected Chanyeol never disappoints also Lee hi and chanyeol's voice blend so well. Raiden is such a good producer and we can't leave out Changmo rap king of korea.
When efra talked about exo having a thing about paintings, I died!! And when Efra also said that Yours deserves to be known in western countries, man, I want him to tell that to SMent! Their music deserves more :((, Chanyeol deserves more, what I mean is, SOLO ALBUM.

Changmo wrote the lirycs, Raiden the music and mixed everything (if this is the correct word). The three of them have published an acoustic performance (instrumental) where they have a small talk and mention Lee Hi and speak for the song. Also Chanyeol plays drums in it. Check it, if you want :)

Actually, I try to improve my English, at least listening skills, through Internet including TH-cam channels focused on Hallyu and Asia-oriented. That's how I entered into kpop world and discovered EXO, found Waleska&Efra and other great channels. .. I'm sharing this because I think this type of studying/improving foreign languages could be really fun - it's easier to study when you like the topic. And I love EXO and kpop. :)
I checked the credits and the main lyricist is actually JQ, the same person who wrote the lyrics for Baekhyun and Loco's Young! :)

Thanks for the correction. Actually in that live session Changmo told that he wrote the lyrics, but maybe I have misunderstood. It's good to clarify the things, isn't it? The most important is that Yours is a great song. :)

@@yordankavo But Changmo did write some lyrics, because he's also credited but he's listed last. Usually for lyrics, the order is listed according to the degree of contribution. He has significant rap parts in this song, and usually the rappers write their own parts if I'm not mistaken. So I think he definitely wrote his rap parts. :) I just wanted to share about JQ because he's a silent partner in many SM songs hehe

When chanyeol Saud he wants to write a title song to exo it was back in 2015.. since then exo members wrote lots of exo's songs. Chen wrote many songs to exo & chanyeol & Baekhyun & lay as well.. also xiumin sehun and chanyeol wrote the rap "do it together ". At KoKoBop chanyeol was also part of the production! It's Lee Ha-yi. This song is so underrated, it's an earworm haha. I guess one of the biggest downsides of being an idol is that, if you don't grab the opportunity to promote the individual members during their rising phase, they get boxed into the "not talented enough to be solo" category so many people who don't listen to idol music skip their music without even a preview listen. If they packaged this song as a Lee Hi song, I think it would have gotten a lot more public listeners. I'm an EXO-L, but I know how the general public deviates from fans in that fans often listen to GP-loved singers but GP non-idol fans don't usually listen to idol music.
From the credits Raiden is credited as primary composer and the main lyricist is JQ, but I think Changmo wrote his own parts (the rap). Chanyeol doesn't have writing credits on this song. :) Raiden mentioned after he wrote this song he thought of Chanyeol's voice for the singing.

EXO doesn't really into western countries and barely even promote in Korea. The only collab that they have is with Starwars - "Lightsaber" and Yoo Jaesuk - "Dancing King". They have collab as solo projects tho. Western artist (specially Clean Bandit) and Billboard has been sending love letter to them even in their rookie days but SM rejected all of them since they are already busy in Asia (which was their only target market that time)
