Watching in 2024 and I don't have an option for Dynamic Conditions under the advanced tab in Elementor Pro. Am I missing something?
I have a conditional display option, but that doesn't use any ACF fields, so it doesn't work as you're showing here.
Suggest showing the finished product at the start of the video.
I normally do, but in my haste to render I completely forgot.... wasn't in the mood to wait another hour and a half to edit and re-render. ;)

Thanks Paul, as always this was great. Last year I started trying to build a business based on offering vehicles online. I bought several themes and tried to use them. They were very buggy, and old, lacking a lot of information.I used a company to do the site/hosting for me, but it was very limiting on design and ability to react. I began to learn Wordpress, and about six months ago, discovered your tuts. I have watched a lot of your videos and been able to finally develop my site the way that I want it to be. Without you and yours tuts, I would have given up and moved. Thanks Paul. If my plan works, it is in a very large part because of your teaching.

Question: Is it possible to create a video regarding the current compatibility / feature related issues with using ACF + Custom Post Types & Jet Smart Filters?
There seems to be confusion regarding this question all over the usual facebook groups and some clarification from a professional such as yourself would be helpful.
I know there are other plugins available for Filtering but they don't all have Ajax and or the same or similar features as Jet Smart Filters.
Additionally, any work arounds you have found to get around the issues you know of would be helpful.
I do not know if using ACF + JetEngine would cause issues, and if you have to duplicate data twice in order to have ability to use JSF.

I'd need to go back over JSF and see if they've updated things since I last spoke the to devs (a few weeks ago). I know it had partial support for ACF, but a few key areas were still missing.

Hi I tried JetSmartFilter and ACF, Ele Custom Skin with 'Post' Widget yesterday. Could not make it work. Seems like you need to be more on JetEngine Side of things. Keep it all on the 'Jet' side, as these are harmonized to work together
@@jean-paulmesserli8269 yeah, the ACF support inside JSF is still limited. Some fields are supported, but many are not.
I spoke to them a short while ago and they are aware of the limitation and will be working on it. But no timescales were mentioned unfortunately.

I followed this tutorial, I'm creating a site that will deal with various types of vehicles. All made with ACF pro and filter&search pro and custom templates with Elementor. The site provides 6 categories of VEHICLES (which will have their own personalized filter in the archive page) therefore for each vehicle create: 1 Template Loop 1 Template Archive 1 Template Single type of vehicle (car, motorcycle, bicycle...) and 1 template for the table (for the characteristics) that I recall within the template loop. All this would involve creating 24 templates. Is there a way to create just one single template medium and call the template associated with it via code in order to have a unique one?
Great tutorial. Confused about the part where you designate the archive page in the search and filter display results tab. You say to use the page name, and you put vehicles. Am I missing something? Did you create that vehicles page during this video, or are you referring to the name of the archive template? Did you create a page and then apply the archive template to it? I'm stuck at this part.
For SEO purposes, stay away from Elementor.

Hi Paul, I'm not sure the free Dynamic Content For Elementor Plugin is available anymore that works with Elementor Pro Flex Containers - so not sure we can use the ACF Repeater method on the front end as shown. If you know of a workaround, then please let us know. Many thanks.
@WpTuts brilliant tutorial, ill be getting a refund on the theme I bought and build from the ground up. Very odd questions about this type of theme, I want the user to be able to be able to remove a post/vehicle from the site after going through a payment gateway and paying say forexample 25$, Where, what and how could I acomplish this?

I'm using your video to help me build a motorcycle dealership. I got it all working except in the loop where you anchored the images to the post id I'm not seeing the dynamic icon on my installation. I'm on WP 5.9 with all of the latest plugins and elementor pro 3.5.2, any ideas?

I am trying to build a site that has multiple Taxonomies and Child Taxonomies and I can not figure out how to get them to work correctly. You'd need to target them directly with custom CSS as the plugin doesn't really give you much control over the styling I'm afraid.

I am not showing an option for selecting the Vehicle Post type under Single Template option. Would you have any ideas why this would be the case? Hey Paul. Thanks for your referral to this tutorial. In the tutorial, you demonstrated how to set up search using just the 'vehicle' data. My question is can the 'dealers' also be added to that same search section so that you can do a search for a specific dealer? Further, will the search results then display all the vehicles belonging to that dealer? Many thanks again.

I'd need to take a look at how S&F Pro organises the form elements and see if they can easily be modified via some CSS. I'm sure it's possible though.
@@WPTuts Thank you very much Paul, I have looked for it and I have not found it. 90% of my clients are real estate agents and request the typical horizontal search engine and, for ACF, the only thing that occurred to me is what I said about putting the Facetwp shortcodes next to each other but it did not end up looking good visually :-(

How would you do the same for Vehicle Model?
Vehicle Manufacturer is set up as it's own taxonomy, would vehicle model have to be another taxonomy?
The vehicle model list needs to be dependant on what Vehicle Make is selected
I.e
Vehicle Make: Vauxhall
Vehicle Model (select field): Astra, Corsa, Meriva, Insignia
Vehicle Make: Audi
Vehicle Mode (select field): A1, A3, A4, A5, TT
etc
any ideas?

How much does it cost to make a car dealership website?
That depends on so manor factors. What I would generally suggest is to take the cost you would normally charge for a typical CMS type website with 8-12 pages and use a multiplier of x2.5.
So, you charged £1000 for the CMS, a ballpark for the car dealership would be around £2500. If more complex or specialised things need to be added then adjust the price accordingly.

Paul, I have to agree with all the accolades you get, your tuts are the best I have ever seen. I need help! I cannot find a video that directly addresses my particular need. This one on the car dealership is close but I have a little different challenge. I have only one product, but, there are hundreds of variations (every car has a different wheel and our product is specific to each wheel) and each one can come in one of 67+ colors. So I need a drop-down/cascading filter/search function (I want to know before I buy if 'Jet Engine' can do this? And I have yet to see a video that applies). The filter needs to select the Make/Model/Year of a vehicle and the color gets selected on the purchase page. So the data is supplied by importing a CSV file. My challenge is getting all these variables and colors set up in WP/WooCommerce. Anything you could do to send me in the right direction would be very much appreciated. I don't expect you would have a need to make a video for this specific issue but maybe you've seen something somewhere that might help. Thanx

Hi. Is there any software/platform/plugin for tracking all the emails coming through an Elementor Form? We have a form on our webpage that sends the user's needs to our partners through an email. I follow you as a beginner and if you can help. In the video where you go to Theme Build and select the single, where I go to (Select the type of template you want to work on) in mine there is no Vehicle option do you know way.

This is a very nice guide to follow, but i encountered some issues on the works of the dealership page im making.
im using hello theme with elementor and elementor pro
also i am using all the same plugins as you listed.
The first issue is that the repeater module makes some error at some kind, puts all the text and number data in the first ACF Fields in the repeater and the correct value in the second.
Do you have any idea on how i can get that fixed? so that i can deliver a fine piece of website art made with knowledge and fine information from your video.

Hi Paul, great guide!!! I have a question, I'm trying to add a ACF relationship field into a loop section, this loop section is used in an archive that is displayed as a web page. I created a section but when trying to add this section as a relationship ACF field it does not show me the content of the section. What can i do wrong?
Post archive: DFE version > Here there is a post called XW8200
Post archive: software version > these are in relationship with the DFE version > I can select the XW8200 field and add this.
Loop section: Software ACF fields included + ACF relationship section DFE version
Section: This contains the XW8200 fields.
Archive page: archive from all software versions > shows me all software versions created + filtering search&filter Pro
So the section XW8200 I cannot get it to load into the loop section. Is this not possible?
Does this tutorial have a second part that goes into making the Car website a Classified style site? Allowing users to submit cars on their own within a user dashboard.

I'd probably just use a custom taxonomy for ease and then filter on that taxonomy.
You could also just use a custom meta field, but I think using a taxonomy is a bit cleaner.
