Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures

It’s wonderful that you had time to see the sights and make memories with your folks.
Poor dad with the kidney stone. It is an INCREDIBLY painful and distressing condition. I hope everyone gave him the love and support he deserved at the time.

It is a nasty place. I don't eat Chinese except for panda express or PF Chang but GC is just horrible.

If I was in a villa that nice, I think on a rainy day, I would just opt to stay in. That said, I’m glad you did, because this was a lot of fun to watch. I especially enjoyed watching Nick play virtual reality. Glad to see that Leigh’s dad passed the kidney stone in time to still enjoy a few days of the trip.
We like the Orlando Science museum on rainy days. Keep on enjoying life to the full guys, I will be there Jan/feb next year, cant wait.

Oh my god I forgot about postcards until I seen this lol used to do the same and was always home before the card in fact in some cases its never arrived...Great to see new thing again in the vlog had to laugh watching nick on the VR headset, glad to see ur daddy is feeling better leigh xx

I was petrified on the wheel , just too high for me . Loved the illusion place , may try that one . Glad dad is ok and able to enjoy , nice to see the animals , we've looked at villas via an agent and it just wasn't viable , with all of the extra fees you have to pay , you might break even , but will never make money on them , especially now . But the villas a fab and a dream still . Rainy days are great to shop till you drop. We literally take 2 extra cases and buy bedding too which is a bargain and very different to uk . Golden coral reminds me of the first time we visited , 30 years ago , not for me that one .

Am so glad to see your Dad is better Leigh & can enjoy the rest of his holiday. I must say.. Nick it has been such a stressful time for you & for you Leigh too... but the last few vlogs i've really enjoyed seeing you both having more fun. It's so SO nice to see. I hope you both feel like it's ok to move on and to laugh. It's what we all have to do eventually. Our loved ones who've passed would want that more than anything in the world for us and it's so good to see you both doing just that. Big massive love to you both xXxXx

The Walmart at Cagans Crossing is right by the villa we stay at!!
At the Museum of Illusions, the Orange triangle is cut in half and a mirrio covers the back of the box, Disney uses this illusion a lot in its attractions.
The Kidani Village has a nighttime safari with night vision goggles. It rides you through this area as well as some backstage stuff. Pretty cool.
So pleased that your Dad's stone passed Leigh, I passed one once and it was like a grain of rice. The pain they cause when they are moving is horrific. He seemed so much happier. Good to see that he was able to enjoy the last few days of his holiday

Hi Guys it’s very difficult to know what to do when it’s raining. Shopping seems to be the favourite pastime. I remember when we went to Florida one year for 2 weeks and we had 8 days of rain 🤦♀️. Xx
I don’t think luck comes into it, you both worked 7 days a week for a long time and now deserve to enjoy your life. Love your vlogs x

Great video. You don’t have to go to the theme parks to have a great time. We have done Wonderworks which was great fun. People look so weird with VR headsets on. What a great idea to go to Animal Kingdom Lodge to see the animals - for free . Last went to Golden Corral with 40 12-13 year olds on a school trip - perfect for greedy teens.
Loving your Florida vlogs as usual, but also looking forward to seeing the lodge again and your days out around Yorkshire! Be Vlogmas before you know it lol!!

Next at Junction 32, Castleford had loads of Bath & Body Works stuff in, didn’t check prices tho, it was a flying visit to just get some trainers from New Balance, but saw the shelves has I walked thru 😊

Hope your dad is now fully recovered and is doing well . Just to follow up I. The postcards , I have a couple of friends with children that I send them postcards from my travels they love receiving their own post . Although when I went to Orlando last September I not sent two cards one to my son and one to my dad and they took 6 months to get here 😂 xx
We used to send post cards to my Dad bless him ,he was stuck in bed and looked forward to receiving it x😢
I went end of sept last year spent a fortune staying on Disney went for 7 days and got caught in the hurricane 😅lost 2 days! Couldn’t do nothing due to the weather but still enjoyed myself 👍🏼going to Disneyland Paris in 7 days hopefully everything will be ok 👌🏼

There's plenty to do outside the parks. I'm glad dad passed the stone. I had surgery last year because the stone was too large to passed and was lodged. I wish that pain on no one

We did but it took a LONG time to get it back

That's our local Walmart, local to Westside Bv. for last 11 years.
We had issues with security deposits. We found 3 weeks after our check out that the money wasn't in , the hotels had released it the day after and it was our bank causing the issue. We had about $800 in limbo for deposits last nov-december and was a pain....especially knowing we d be out the country and home soon after.
Rosen shingle creek was the worst.

Bok Tower Gardens is well worth a visit if you're looking for Non-Disney days.
We have been there, loved it
@@TheLodgeGuys We like to eat out at out of the way places recommended by local people, down near Bok Tower are 2 places we tried and loved. Cherry Pocket restaurant and Harry’s Old Place.

You are very lucky to be in the states as long as you have been . Most people take a year or more just for 2 weeks in the USA, saving hard .Cost of living crisis obviously hasn't impacted on you ..
