    My Favorite the mohokoi. Still remember my Mum for making oil from mohokoi mixed with other different kinds of flowers. Smell so, so, so Good. The oil that we use from mohokoi and other flowers mix with coconut and is very good for hair, skin, and massage for our body etc. Very Natural. I bought a grader for coconut from Amazon to make my own coconut milk at home so I can make my own oil naturally at home and to remember my Mum always.

    Thanks for the info, very interesting, I have three plants in my backyard, they are still young about a year and a half, I'll be patient. Something I realize is they love the sun very much.

    i have a question. what is the ideal spacing when planting ylang-ylang?

    • @TopTropicals
      @TopTropicals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on if it is a dwarf or a full size the spacing will be different. For the dwarf I would allow at least 10-15 feet. For the full size I would space them around 20- 30 feet spacing. You do not want to crowd them because they need a lot of light on the branches in order for them to flower.

    Fact check: It originated from Philippines, not Indonesia. It's pronounced as i (as in sea)-lang ilang.

      Yolanda Romero it was designed to cover the smell of cigarettes. Very heavy smokers then especially in Paris. Tabbaco is another bottom note to help counter the sweet smell.
