It's actually really cool to see a world record speedrun that still involves some deaths, it makes watching it a really tense experience and the victories all that much sweeter. Great job on this amazing run!

I have started playing last week and currently I am doing a hard mode playthrough. I now have reached chinatown with >1000 deaths and a time between 2-3 hours. You have my respect for your dedication to speedrun this.

The game has 6 different weapons (5 considering one is just a reskin) and 2 different game modes (normal and hard) you can do at least 10 runs right there. You can also achievement hunt which will take you a while. You can also speedrun the game which will take you EVEN LONGER if you want good times. Theres a lot of stuff to do if you actually want to play the game.

I was having a hard time with hard mode, and I can say this helped me a whole lot with how to actually complete the levels, I wasn't quite as godlike as you are, but I just barely managed thanks to this video
okay so, i went and tried to count how much time you lost due to deaths and early resets. What iI got is that if you did this run again without these mistakes, you would get a time of around 19.53 +/- some time lost/gained with optimization. I didn't count the small things, like not aligning with the elvator so you go through it instantly, and stuff like that, so it could be lower.
Each blade has this kind of hover side effect when you constantly slash while in the air. This blade (I think the Prism Blade), the normal katana and the Savant Knife have the most effective hover times, and I think Savant Knife lets you stay in the air the longest. And you can switch directions while slashing
16:47 you can skip the boss fight here by rolling underneath the cameras to make sure the boss fight doesnt get activated. Same thing with the other levels with cameras. (no idea if they're actually cameras but whatever is on the roof you can just roll past the "activators" to skip everything.)

16:46 you probably know this because it looks like thats what you were trying to do, but you can avoid both the TVs and Leon's attacks if you aren't seen by the cameras. You need to roll to the center tile and then roll again to get out, but you must land directly center. With the other rooms where there is a wire to the TV, jump or jump+slash to cut the wire and the doors should open and/or remain open. Would absolutely save significant time. Theres actual tutorials on this that explain it way better than I do though if anyone is interested
My current Normal Mode speedrun is like an hour and 10 minutes, and I couldn't even get past the final room of the Factory in Hard Mode. And then you have people like this. So anyways, what sword is that ?
I'm not sure if you plan to make an attempt at this again anytime soon, but just so you know, the survival part at 16:45 can be skipped by dodge rolling past the hemisphere sensors at the top of the room. Would save you 1 min of time. Same goes for the room after that too. Unless that doesn't work on hardmode, I've not tested it on that mode myself.
Yeah it doesn't work because of the enemies on the first one of those rooms with sensors you just can't kill them without them or you going through a single sensor and you can't reach the wire in time either so you're jut stuck with it
Somewhat regret using the claymore as though there are situations where it comes in handy tremendously, it's just too slow :C Took me 2:44:23.15 Was my final achievement so 100% it after 25.4 hours YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
7:08 you could've save up few seconds if you would slide between these lasers (its possible you just need hit down once you passed one laser so you wont keep sliding, a little of practice and you can master it)

also got all achievements including the gold metal one and total game time on steam was like 30 hours
