Thunder fan here. This is a good breakdown video of Holmes. I wouldn't be mad if the Thunder were the team to have promised to pick him (at 12). You guys could use a third good big, but we're still looking for our second good big. I think he and Chet would pair really well together and keep our 5 out offense consistent with all lineups.
Good analysis Mack. He looks, big, strong, and passionate. Will he protect his teammates? This is more of the toughness and size that the Cavs need in the front court IMO.
Do you think strus is are starting small forward as of next year? I honestly think we need to look for a starting wing because i feel like hes way better at Sg.
I saw that the Nuggets love him. They think he could backup and play with Jokic and be a aaron goodman replacement Love the breakdown. Just think of Homes and mobley running /ruling the paint. Already has a better 3pt shot than mobley and willingness to take them. Pick and pop with DM all day.
He seems to have a slow release. Also seems a little uncoordinated. I’d rather have Carrington or Missi if available. Maybe even Ware if his work ethic is above decent.
The release is quicker than it was over his first two seasons. Definitely not a finished product but shows a lot of promise as a floor spacer. I like Missi but would prefer a big who can shoot if we go big man. He is also just as uncoordinated my friend. Probably alittle more so in certain regards. Ware will likely be gone. Carrington would be a good pick if the Cavs intend on moving on from Caris but wouldn’t likely see the floor if the core remains. Especially if they want CPJ to play.
MAJOR FACTS! Folks in the comments talking about the CAVS will develop him into a shooter. How’s that been going lately with OKORO and MOBLEY after the past several years🥴🥴🥴🥴🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
This guy is one of the top 10 players in draft

Thanks man! I appreciate that. I honestly feel like bigs like Holmes could fit into any 2nd unit. I could see the Thunder making good use of him.

Similar to Miles Turner (Pacers)? He would be an awesome big man prospect - especially if they they have to move off Allen

Oct 24' :C.Wallace- SGA- JDub- D.Holmes- Holmgren.
I already don’t see a difference between him and Pete Nance. Just elevate Pete as the back up big
Pete will likely get a shot to make an impact this year.
👀
If he’s on the board when the CAVS are picking watch KOBY screw it up💯💯💯💯
just bring up Nance and Isaiah Mobley IMO and draft Kevin McCullar Jr.
Definitely options the Cavs have. Will be interesting to see what they do.
@@itscavalierpodcast1410 I also am just a huge fan of Isaiah and his potential on this team.
Cavs need more length and strength. Altman doesn’t seem to understand today’s NBA.

Perfect fit. Nas Reid’s twin lowkey
yeah, lets not draft him....sound like another Okoro waiting to happen
