Thank you very much. When you showed the hole that holds the handle spring down, that solved my problem. So simple, but I just couldn't see it and was about to make a special tool.

At my work we've received a partially assembled pallet jack. The handle, control rod, and control handle need to be assembled. But I'm having difficulties inserting the push pin that connects the control rod to the control handle. Have any advice for getting these push pins in?

      Hi Oniviper!
The piston and spring should be held down with a pin which assists with installation. It might be easiest if you call our Customer Service and talk to one of the mechanics there (Josh or Chris) 800-331-0839

No worries bud. We eventually got it. We were having problems with the pins that connect the control rod, that goes up through the main handle, and connects to the control handle that determines if you lower or raise the load. The roll pins were incredibly difficult to compress to insert into the holes they were designed for. We finally "made" them fit with some man handling.
My new problem is the slow pump it takes to raise the load. Either seals are bad or low hydraulic fluid. Your videos have taught me enough to handle that, if my boss pays for the necessary material to correct it.

How do you remove the spring?

To remove the spring, remove the handle, then pull the spring and piston out free from pump.

@@genericparts ya, I figured it out literally right after I asked lol. Thanks. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the hardest to figure out.
