- As the last Manxman to win a TT Race back in 2002, nobody knows the 37.73-mile TT Mountain Course quite like Richard 'Milky' Quayle.
Now a TT Rider Liaison Officer, Milky gives a huge amount of time to mentor the next generation of TT stars and, in this video, gives some insight into what it's like to take on the most demanding race in the World.

He did a turn by turn bus tour for us at the Classic in 2018, had everyone on the bus leaning in following his lead. Most exciting sedate tour bus ride ever!

Can Milky do these types of videos for everything in life? Like take the bins out, fill in a tax return, or wash the car? He is passion is palpable, his knowledge is deep, and he just comes across as a smashing lad. From a guy who peed himself from fear on a KX80 in 1987 when i got it into 3rd gear....

This is some serious great stuff. Milky not only describe the track corner by corner but gives you some actual FEEL of the moment which transfers to even more goosebumps while watching. Amazing!

I got the bus back from Douglas to Peel on the last day last year , didnt realise till i got off at Peel football club it was Milky driving....doh..! Sorry , brilliant video...greetings from Javea, Spain.

Every person that takes on the challange of doing the IoM TT or Manx GP is flippin mental. The quick men are the real Aliens!
This gave me so much insight into the physical and mental endurance needed to complete this race. To fight against the G-Forces and pull/turn the bike into those corners must be insanely difficult. I'm not a fan of racing but i can appreciate the skill needed to do this.
I saw this the day before, but it is so amazing to watch it again whoile waiting for Day 5.

Terrific! Exactly what I was looking for, I'm attempting to learn this track in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the edge 2. Without the HUD elements, and this is really helpful. It's impressive how close the virtual track is to the real thing.
I'm doing the same, but on TT3 😄
I've been able to turn off the racing line and minimap, playing in realistic with all assists off except for AWS set to 1. A couple of crashes still.. Working in progress! Playing in 3rd person and plan on building my way to 1st person over time.

I used to be able to go thru a lap on tracks I raced at in my head and close my eyes and start the stop watch and imagine myself going around the track ...and the lap times were right on w the real ones. Guy and Hickman say they can do the same thing on the isle....how fkng insane lol ...250+the turns but not only that they know the exact time / distance between each turn. I spose u better know every once of the road if you're going to go balls out on it.

Milky uses the standard gear box is see ...lol. ..go up thru the gears 4th 5th 6th....not stomping down on it ! I like standard myself but never tried the reverse

😎😲wooow WTF .i have been watching the TT for some years now but i have NEVER SEEN IT from the eyes of the rider👍. Its sooo INCREDIBLE and fucking FAST , DAMN BOY😍😃 next year 2021 i will be waiting to watch it because i love all forms of motor sport BUT WHAT THESE GUYS ARE DOING ITS JUST BEAUTIFUL AND THEY ALL OF BALL OF STEEL TOO , to race a motorbike on a normal street road and go up to 330kmh that's 210 mph .
