It's a haunting period piece and everyone should see it. The video will make sense after seeing the movie. This is the first song on the credits of the movie.
"Never Go Back" is one of Evanescence's song that she rewrote to work with an orchestra. It's about putting herself in the place of those who lost love ones during the 2011 Japanese tsunami. It would be good to listen to the studio version (more rocking), then watch the Synthesis live version with the orchestra. An amazing musician and performer. The band also plays with the orchestra, but they are more in the background (except for the drummer, who always seems to stand out).
