Does your car have an oil cooler I was told to put 14 quarts of oil

When I put 10 quarts, it didn’t show up on the dipstick

The oil cooler is part of the 1LE package. The owner's manual specifies 10 qts. 14 would be beyond overfilling. Just give it a few minutes before you check the level on the dipstick. Fresh oil is hard to see on it anyway.

Hey thanks for watching! The oil pan bolts need to be tightened. Common issue with these cars.

Did you use Mobil 1 0w-40 always ?

Yes, this is one of the oils approved by GM for this car.
