It was at Seneca Auditorium, Toronto, It was a beautiful Event 1976, I was asked to sit with the tanpura behind the greatest legend of our time! I was blessed by becoming his first disciple living abroad. To be honest I didn't even know how to handle a Tanpura, but Ustad ji's nature of love and helping others who want to learn allowed me to be there. Thanks Mois for sharing this wonderful Video, brings back memories. Afzal and Munni Subhani.

When I listen to Mehdi Hasan others look beginners. Pitch perfect but soft like silk.

I used to listen to his records as a child but never had the luxury of listening to him at a concert. Thanks to the Internet and you tube that I’m able to rediscover his amazing gayaki, skill and just the humility of his personality. I’m so moved by his songs- thanks and god bless for sharing this!
