That's awesome. That is one of my favorite planes of all time. Thanks for sharing all your videos with us. Maybe I at one time I could pick your brain on some builds I'm doing. Thanks Ben!!!
Looks awesome, Ben. An arrestor wire challenge sounds like a great idea for FT or FF next year. I could build a giant plywood carrier and we could start a naval aviator challenge with F-4s, A-4s, and the like!
Great engineering ! But why turning the engine off and miss the runway ? :( Suggest to practice landing with engine still delivering thrust & do a fly by before.
Awesome job Ben I build a Balsa and foam wing F4 right after the first nitro powered ducted fan came out in the late 70s. I have 2 questions I hope you will answer.1. What do you use to create your plans (software)?2. How do you get them full scale into PDF format? Thanks SOTM
It appears several of my links are bad, but the plans are still on the Flite Test Forum under Resources: forum.flitetest.com/index.php?resources/f-4-phantom-ii-twin-70mm-edf-monster.274/
she flies awesome. like on rails. your shirt told the story before you even took off. sweet bird. 😎
Love the three generation fun time, beautiful work of art. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like it flies very well. Excellent job, obviously a labor of love.
Wow same landing as my vector!
Dude this build is lit!

Flies great! Can't wait to see this as an ft community release someday!
Yeah, we'll get the CG sorted out before that. :P
Elijah French maybe even a speed build kit one day
Really nice! Hope Flitetest makes an especial about it! :D

Now THAT is a challenge idea I like! Better yet: Try it LOS and FPV, and compare the experience. Or maybe have two challenge categories
"Good afternoon welcome to Thursday" haha that was perfect. Cool build too. Thumbs up sir
Absolutely awesome video.. Great job on the F4, and the whole shebang... Nice to meet you !!
Nice one Ben !
Will definitely be downloading the plans for this baby !
Anyone know where to get the build plans for this F-4 Phantom? The plans in the link description do not work.
That EDF has a great sound to it!
Good Job My Friend, Any landing that only causes a few wrinkles in a nose is a good one
amazing build
Better it was nose heavy then tail heavy for the maiden. Nice job getting it finished.
Glad I came across this. Really nice build and flight. Hope the damage is very minimal.
Ben your planes always sound better.
Retracts in a foam board airplane. I had wondered about Retracts on NerdNicks Mig3. Question answered.
Ben where did you get your hoodie. Cheers on the maiden!!!

Bad ass, don't know if you had enough flare but where can I buy a kit rounded intakes and intake guard included.

Thank you sir, and one stupid question. Would it work as a Pusher plane using Power Pack C? :D
I think the flaperons are too small. But, other than that, it's only matter of fixing better the battery. ;)
Awesome! also great landing :)
Despite being nose heavy, the plane and it's flight looked nice. BTW, your dad sounds a little like John Goodman.
I gasped so loudly when it "landed" on the bush. Lol
I said something that made me glad to have been in an empty room.
Noticed the link is no longer phantom plans ,is there a new link?

The Flight was very good, You need something for succsessfull Landing 🦮😮👍🏻
Is this the really big one you've been building, or the one that you took to flitefest
This is the one I first built at Flite Fest, and now re-built at home.
The REALLY big one is still in-work... ;)
i wish FliteTest sell these kit with power pak combo
I like. A bit square, but nice.
Woohoo!!!
so, bushes are the best crash pads? hahaha
terrible landing.
