WAY better on this song this time around for Emily. Kept telling people nerves were getting to her at points at the Burbank performance. She sounds WAY more comfortable here.
exactly nerves and emotion she cried during waiting for the end last time, it will take a little time for her to feel 100% comfortable but it was def improved here.
@@suisinghoraceho2403I think as time goes on they'll ease up on it. They're prioritizing it because of what they said before. The audience is filling the role of Chester.
@@flyonthewall4123 Exactly, Mike has literally been saying that it's not about replacing him and the audience is filling his role, yes Emily's there as the one who is visually in his place in terms of the lineup but she knows and they know that she isn't *really* replacing Chester because nobody could. All she can do is do his songs justice and I think she's doing just that so far and at the same time, she has a chance to carve her own legacy in her own songs with them as a part of this new chapter for the band. The people who are still hating on her for coming into the band need to take a good long look in the mirror because the only ones who are disrespecting Chester's memory are the ones using his name to bully Emily when if they really knew the kind of man he was, they'd know he wouldn't condone this behavior in the slightest because he knew what it was like to be in this very position with how he replaced Scott Weiland in Stone Temple Pilots in 2013 and got the same type of criticism from their longtime fans. Emily's even admitted that her confidence was knocked from all the hate and false narratives being pushed by other people, so she's obviously taking this new gig as seriously as possible and doing her best to pay tribute to one of her favorite singers while also putting her own stamp on the songs. What the naysayers need to understand is that the band had every right to choose whether to break up or to go away for a while and come back when they felt the time was right, which of course wound up being the latter and they definitely don't do things for monetary gain, they would've still been touring for the last 7 years if that were the case and as vital as Chester was to their entire image and sound, from the outside looking in he'd support their decision to write a new chapter with a new face whether you like the choice or not.
Nice to see, that here she have learned the right way to sing this music. Her way. I can see she isn't rasping her voice like she did on her first live, that made her lost her voice on some parts.
The haters are some of the most hypocritical, two-faced people I've ever seen and it's getting hilarious at this point, all of them wanted these guys to come back so goddamn badly and now that they finally have, all of a sudden it's as if they wish the band died with Chester and that it's a cardinal sin for them to want to continue onwards with someone else when bands do this all the time no matter how iconic the previous singer was, remember that Chester himself replaced an iconic singer in Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots in 2013 to this exact same criticism and wouldn't appreciate this kind of behavior from the fans just because they didn't go ahead and pick a Chester clone. That's not to say they're trying to replace him nor is Emily trying to be him, yes she's visually taking his place in terms of the lineup but they've all said that Chester is irreplaceable no matter who they had picked and Mike has even been saying that filling the role of Chester Bennington is the fans, so they aren't erasing his legacy either like his own son somehow seems to believe and with who they're known to be as people, if Emily was still associated with that ass backwards clown show of an organization called the Church of Scientology and truly supported all the stuff these people are accusing her of supporting (with no proof to show by the way), people are stupid if they actually think they would've thought twice before saying no to bringing her in because it's not just about how good of a musician she is, it's about who she is as a person. She's openly queer as well and has been for close to a decade at least, which as it's part of the LGBTQ+ community is something that the Church historically despises and thus I don't think there's any way she's still part of it and some Dead Sara lyrics back that up too, so the critics need to learn to separate the person from the songwriter, stop being so quick to jump to conclusions and assume they know everything about her character.
Anyway - is it just me that doesnt like the stage? Emily is seen waling around all the time. Must be a bit frustrating that you are not in one way or one direction and connecting to the audience - you are expected to take time away moving from one side to the other....
why did the drummer and guitar player drop out of this tour? I am watching this to see how the show is but i kinda think this whole new singer thing has been a MESS
Need to stop watching cellphone footage of this concert and go to bed :P
one more
MAN same here, I can't stop watching 😂
Nah, little longer will be fine
One more time X 100 😂
oh thank goodness, i'm not alone 😂❤
This one is for those who use the footage of this song from the debut to show she "can't sing". Once Emily gets more comfortable - she's a monster
She’s so good live man I’m already all in
The emotuon she visibly shows during some of these songs is 100%, it's not just a new gig for her.
She is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emily sounds amazing ... and OMG this is the best concert footage I have seen. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could have been there...
🎉I'm in love with her already 😊

They also over did the singing with audience trick.

@@flyonthewall4123 I am sure it would have been a great experience for fans in the venue. Just doesn’t stream as well.
Thank you for this recording ❤ Emily is both beauty and the beast (vocally !)🙀
Finally someone who's not actually recording on a nokia 3310
Emily is an absolute rock star!

You got some amazing footage of the show!
Amazing audio, too! This capture probably has the best I've come across so far.
Wow! The lights in the crowd during the “lift me up, let me go” part were beautiful

She looks like Vi. In league of legends Arcane. 😅
One more reason to think that they'll gonna release a song for Worlds 2024 🤭

no, el baterista hace rato desaperecio, nada que ver con lo de ahora. Es mas shinoda lo cuenta en la entrevista
E' meglio che le canzoni di Chester NON le canti, una grande pena. Il nuovo singolo mi piace.
Chertamente
