My auntie has Down syndrome who wants to be a food critic and people treat her like she’s disabled or disgusting, but I’m grateful that she’s my auntie because she taught me a lot about her life as a person with disabilities and she can still make a difference in life even though she’s disabled

I'm mentally disabled and I can still do things that other people can do like playing the drums, riding a bike, having a part time job. Just because that some are mentally disabled that doesn't mean that they're not capable to do things what other people can do. They deserve respect (including me)
Same mentally disabled person right here, we can do things but sometimes people take it as an excuse or some way to act superior.

Yeah sure dude... There is a spectrum of being disabled in a mental sense or brain cognition. If you have Down Syndrome, your uses are few and far between. Those are the facts. That's why abortion is very high if the fetus is determined to be genetically inferior.

I've worked with several mentally disabled people and what always impressed me is they dont give up, if they have a task/project to complete it gets done.
