Thank you again Glenda!! I watch your videos, I write the instructions down as I'm following the video, I make notes for myself as I go along. In about an hour I'm able to make a swatch of the new chain I've just learned, write the pattern out with my added notes and in the end...I've learned something nee, with written instructions. Your videos are the best I've seen for beginners, as you show the step by step of the new stitch!! To date I've gotten 6 swatches and 6 written patterns...all from Your videos!! You are just wonderful!! ❤❤❤
I really like the Stitch of the Week patterns you are demonstrating. I am a new crocheter and have made a few things, so appreciate finding some ideas on your channel.
Finished my patriotic blanket/Afghan. Would love to share, it's actually my first finished large project. Posted picture on Creative Grandma Facebook page (July 27). Thank you again Glenda for your helpful tutorials.
This stitch pattern is beautiful and easy 👍after seeing this pattern i got a idea to create a frock for a baby girl thank you for lovely pattern happy crocheting
It is amazing what a simple color change can do for a stitch pattern, that is why I always try to show at least 3 different styles, have fun crocheting.
That's why I love your tutorials also, because you give at least 3 different colour samples😋 it helps me certainly with a wider prospective how the items will look 😀 Thank you Glenda you are so talented. 😋 Erica x
Love, love, love it. Yay, I think I have it😍. Thanks so much. You made it easy to follow and understand. Look out, I have a new stitch, and I'm not afraid to use it.
Erica Bates creative granma thank you for the tulip pattern I have. been working on a blanket but some how the sides seem to slant in and I just cant get them to go straight could you please help once again thank you for your lovely videos
Love this pattern. I will be attempting to work the stitch into an afghan.. Thanks for all your easy to follow tutorials. I think I have the pattern down pat.. Just made a practice sample of 3 rows.. I am in love with the Tulip Stitch. Thanks again
That's the c2c stitch except it's side ways which I like it better then the c2c. I also like doing a front post on the third dc and then working the three dc on the chain three it makes the work pop out more
It would be wonderful if you had these patterns written for sale like in a Small BOOK. I agree it's a much simpler than c to c diagonal. I've got it up to 1\2 way. I love your tutorials etc.
What do you do for the final row?? Do you just merely end it? I have three sides that are straight and one side with the tulip edges, is that how it's supposed to be? Thx
Hello Glenda, I’m a subscriber and have learned and done some of the stitches you teach. Wold you kindly tell me what will be the best border for this stitch or for the C2C? I just finished an Afghan, but need to add a border to it. Thank you.
Thank you for this pattern, I have subscribed I have chained 165, an using Dk with 4mm hook, can you please give any idea how much yarn Blanket took please. I live in England UK. an using a Double Knit yarn, which is more like a baby 4ply. TIA. Sonja
my Aunt who just turned 90 yestersay asked for a written tutoial for this patte Thank you for posting at the end but there is only a partial of the pattern. Is there some way to get the entire pattern?
Hello Laurie, the multiple of 33 was a ch of 33 JUST FOR THE SAMPLE SWATCH TO LEARN!!! If you want to make a larger afghan you need to make a ch with a muliple of 4's then add 5 so it would be 4,8,12, 16, 20 etc when you get the width you want then add another 5 ch. so a multiple of 4's then add 5 extra ch. Have fun crocheting!!
Beverly Wood, this stays the same size. If you want to increase, you ate thinking about corner 2 corner. This is somewhat similar except it is straight and a C2C is worked starting in a corner and continuing from C2C
I'm trying to do what they call a drunken granny stitch . I can never get it to keep from curling on the first row, and all of the holes make me dizzy , literally . Have you ever heard of this stitch? I refuse to let this stitch defeat me . Can you give me any suggestions , or have you done the stitch before ?
Looks a lot like the slanted shell stitch. Thanks for sharing.
Very pretty 😍 super easy, I am doing a classic white for mom for a mother's day gift.
Beautiful stitch for a summer top
I love the way this stitch looks, especially in multi color yarn. Thank you 🙏

I do a front post on the 3rd dc then work the 3dc into the chain 3 space which gives the work a lovely 3D effect.
It would be wonderful if you had these patterns written for sale like in a Small BOOK. I agree it's a much simpler than c to c diagonal. I've got it up to 1\2 way. I love your tutorials etc.
This is a beautiful stitch! I love it. :)
this is just gorgeous. ty
Very pretty, thanks!
What a beautiful stitch! Can you please tell us how to make a border for it? Thank you !😊
man, that 3 color one really popped!
Thank you, so much.
love this. if we want to make it larger what is the stitch count we would use?
What do you do for the final row?? Do you just merely end it? I have three sides that are straight and one side with the tulip edges, is that how it's supposed to be? Thx
That's what I wondered as well. I prefer all sides to look the same and not sure how to go about getting that.
Thank you!!!
Love this pattern! 😊 would love to know what border to use please.
Darlene Keddy I’ve asked the same question. No reply yet. Anyone have a suggestion to finish this off?

Hi all, does anyone know the name of that varigated yarn used for one of the samples?
Hello Glenda, I’m a subscriber and have learned and done some of the stitches you teach. Wold you kindly tell me what will be the best border for this stitch or for the C2C? I just finished an Afghan, but need to add a border to it. Thank you.
Thanks Anna

Thank you for this pattern, I have subscribed I have chained 165, an using Dk with 4mm hook, can you please give any idea how much yarn Blanket took please. I live in England UK. an using a Double Knit yarn, which is more like a baby 4ply. TIA. Sonja
how many chains do you do for a big blanket
How can I know how much yarn to buy to make a crib size blanket?
Is this the stitch that is done in the c2c blankets
Love this but how do you finish off the last edge so it is even and you can add a border? Love your videos!
wondering the same thing
my Aunt who just turned 90 yestersay asked for a written tutoial for this patte Thank you for posting at the end but there is only a partial of the pattern. Is there some way to get the entire pattern?
I love your video, is it multiples of 33 then to do a large afghan?
Hello Laurie, the multiple of 33 was a ch of 33 JUST FOR THE SAMPLE SWATCH TO LEARN!!! If you want to make a larger afghan you need to make a ch with a muliple of 4's then add 5 so it would be 4,8,12, 16, 20 etc when you get the width you want then add another 5 ch. so a multiple of 4's then add 5 extra ch. 😢not the tulip stitch
Can you tell me how to end this. If you make a scarf how do I get it like the other end?
What is the multiples? You just gave amount of ch for sample swatch? Thank
Hello creative grandma
This is a great stitch , but I know it as the Crystal Wave Stitch .
Does the stitch grow as it gets bigger or does it stay the same size?
Beverly Wood, this stays the same size. If you want to increase, you ate thinking about corner 2 corner. This is somewhat similar except it is straight and a C2C is worked starting in a corner and continuing from C2C
How can this be finished off to have a straight edge at last row?
One thing I have learned about TH-cam is on one channel someone renamed this the crystal wave ? Same stitch different name on alot of stitch patterns
Can you do this stitch if your trying to make a Mickey Mouse on this stitch pattern. If so can you show an example please
Has anyone ever put a border on the tulip stitch?
You can't see the patteran it's written to small and I'm can't figure out how to get it bigger on my phone.
Allison Collinson what kind of phone do you have? If I triple tap my phone it magnifies the screen
Hi,
Can any body tell the multiples of this pattern?
Hira Zain Pinterest it love
Multiples of 4, +5.
It is strange how the names of stitches are changed over the years. We always called this one the crazy stitch.
