Like, when I was commenting to clips that no, you can't show your skin in camera streams and then Kiara said that you can and people pointed that clip to me and I said she's just wrong and people were like who the fuck are you? A nobody, go eat shit. and then she got bonked by management and I was see? and they still called me an anti. It's the same here! When Hololive commissions a vtuber they make a temporary and exclusive deal with that artist. BUT. Hololive gives their talent a set number of garments for special milestone. The 100k subscribers new year garment, the 500k 3D debut, the 1M garment. Those are Hololive-artists deals. You as a talent can make talent-artists deals, but you have to pay yourself. It's the same for songs. They can give you songs for free if you reach certain milestones or you can produce them yourself. This is my take on this. Of course, I don't work for Hololive nor I have any inside knowledge but I have been following them since Mel's debut and I recognise patterns 😂😂
yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if she just misunderstood certain context behind the rule. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened, although I will say I think some KFP need to chill with stuff like this because the moment anyone suggests Kiara might me wrong about something like this they go feral.
she didn't get bonked, though. she got the ok for those streams from management. then cover changed/clarified the skin rule soon after, so now they're not allowed. and as far as I know, nowadays talents get one outfit a year, with some exceptions
She did not get bonked by management. The stream was approved by her manager, obviously. The VOD had a small cut due to a reflective surface, which is something that can happen in any camera stream (yet camera streams are still allowed). The rules on showing skin were always wishy-wash and applied on a case-by-case basis. Gloves were the default go-to, but even the talents themselves didn't seem 100% sure. Skin had been shown multiple times before the nail painting stream (remember Nene? Laplus?). Later, management finally made up their minds and put a consistent rule in place for everyone. Nobody got in trouble, because nobody broke any rules in place at the time of the stream. And the milestones don't align with outfits quite that simply. • 500k for 3D was a gimmick specific to Regloss, as a promotional push. They were going to get 3D for their anniversary regardless. Kanade hit 500k after 3D, after all. • 1M outfits are the 1M "wish", which can be whatever the talent wants/management approves. Outfits are just a common choice for talents to make. • 100k for New Years? Haven't heard of that (was it was a thing years ago?) but considering they pass 100k on debut day, the New Years outfit is just for New Years, subs aren't a relevant requirement. If you're getting pushback over your comments, it may be due to getting some basic facts incorrect like claiming talents got into trouble when they didn't.
You don't follow them that much clearly Before the no skin rule, multiple talents showed skin. Calli did a slime ASMR, Nenechi wrote messages to chat on her arm, etc. She never got bonked by management, the nail painting collab with IRyS and Calli was done before that rule was in place. And none of the outfits are milestone related - 100K subscribers doesn't give anything, considering every new member gets it on debut day (or before) - New Years is the only outfit one - 3D debut used to be 100K subs back in the day. ReGLOSS 2.5 mil was a fun goal thing to increase their reach, they literally announced 3D for them in like July - Every 1 million subs isn't an outfit, it's any wish from a talent that the company can do in their power. New L2D/3D outfit, 3D live, outside company collabs (Aqua's VN, Okayu's Ikinari Steak, etc)
The attention span of the younger viewers aren't like what it used to be. Most of Hololive fans are likely in their 30s and 40s and those in their 20s of today can't even read a book without ear pods blasting and their iPad blaring at the same time...

What kind of dumb corpo rule is that?! Oh yeah that artist we trusted to draw one of our super expensive and important talents? They are NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE! Hololive: Hey foot, this is gun, say hi
This has nothing to do with 'trust", what a bizarre interpretation. A rational read is that this is about making sure an artist isn't double-booked, and/or it's about maintaining the uniqueness of each member's design aesthetic. Members do sometimes change artists if their original artist becomes unavailable at a later date. For example, Huke hasn't been available to work on Kiara for like the past two years, so she's been choosing different artists for the last few outfits. All she's saying is that she can't ask an artist who is already another member's designer, presumably for the reasons I mentioned above. This genuinely isn't a big deal, youtube commenters just blow every bit of behind the scenes talk completely out of proportion with pointless speculation.
Huh, interesting to hear that this is a confirmed thing within the company. Second is that other members allow to commission with other mama for their MV and stuff before so it's not impossible. I don't know if Kiara misunderstood the rule or what but she just need to ask, this place is not Niji. Last, use your brain and think why they're making this rule in the first place and for what like the rest of us, don't just rush and saying it's dumb when you're not even in that meeting when the rules first make.
@@moriyamananaki8888 Given that you werent in the meeting either you are assuming in the companys favor for no real reason, also dont bring up Niji out of nowhere, makes us seem like overprotective Holo fans
@@DuffBeerJ Niji suck so it's not a weird to say it? Or your just a Nijisister in disguise here just to throw hate? And I never say that i'm in that meeting. I said use your BRAIN to figure it out like the rest of us and not just empty head typing like you.
This is sad
So she got NTR lmao
Wait... what? Either I am misunderstanding something or that sounds really really dumb.
While I'm a nobody, I think Kiara misunderstood the policy.
You don't follow them that much clearly
Before the no skin rule, multiple talents showed skin. Calli did a slime ASMR, Nenechi wrote messages to chat on her arm, etc.
She never got bonked by management, the nail painting collab with IRyS and Calli was done before that rule was in place.
And none of the outfits are milestone related
- 100K subscribers doesn't give anything, considering every new member gets it on debut day (or before)
- New Years is the only outfit one
- 3D debut used to be 100K subs back in the day. ReGLOSS 2.5 mil was a fun goal thing to increase their reach, they literally announced 3D for them in like July
- Every 1 million subs isn't an outfit, it's any wish from a talent that the company can do in their power. New L2D/3D outfit, 3D live, outside company collabs (Aqua's VN, Okayu's Ikinari Steak, etc)
Some of those faces just do not look right. Especially the chins.
Honestly it's time for Myth to end this charade and reform into the next level super group.
The attention span of the younger viewers aren't like what it used to be. Most of Hololive fans are likely in their 30s and 40s and those in their 20s of today can't even read a book without ear pods blasting and their iPad blaring at the same time...
I like how you think people in their 30s and 40s aren't the exact same way. Hell, Boomers are essentially iPad Kids, at this point.
@@aerthreepwood8021 shh, let the old guy feel special
The debuts are kept short to reduce the pressure on the talents and to be able to debut more people on a primetime windown
@@aerthreepwood8021 There are only one generation of boomer and they are in their 70s to 80s today. Just google why they are called boomers...
A fine example of acquired ADHD. Can't even read a bit of something.
"Boomers", as the ignorant children erroneously call them, didn't literally have their brain development screwed over by constant instant gratification by smartphones and 24/7 social media access during their growth years. Nowadays even freaking universities are struggling with rampant attention deficiency among their students, and it's only getting worse as even toddlers get smartphones glued to their hands by careless parents.
Sometimes being a corporate vtuber sucks a... 🙈
In fairness I'm sure the Ryza artist is busy enough that an indie probably couldn't comission her to do their model either
I don't see how this rule suck? It's logical that you can't have other mama to do your outfits, it would mismatch with their own mama design
@@moriyamananaki8888 also that can make market broken. let say you debut with mama A but your fav is mama B who also mama of your coworker. so you just commission to mama B not you mama who make your avatar. this will make really akward in my opinion. so this rules are fair for me.
Braindead clip watchers getting their panties twisted over nothing
This isn't q corporate vtuber thing, it's just a Cover specific policy. Who knows how other corpos do things.
@@mindflair3732 Pretty much, like ever since Wada Arco made Kronii, I always wondered why a lot of indies doesn't just hire famous artist? you would think there would be more vtubers would start to hire her as an illustrator since she is now officially known as a vtuber artist
Hope these artists got paid this time.
they get paid! but not for endless overtime and revision 😂
What kind of dumb corpo rule is that?! Oh yeah that artist we trusted to draw one of our super expensive and important talents? They are NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE!
Hololive: Hey foot, this is gun, say hi
Kiara feeding dumb people like you whats new though?
This has nothing to do with 'trust", what a bizarre interpretation.
A rational read is that this is about making sure an artist isn't double-booked, and/or it's about maintaining the uniqueness of each member's design aesthetic.
Members do sometimes change artists if their original artist becomes unavailable at a later date. For example, Huke hasn't been available to work on Kiara for like the past two years, so she's been choosing different artists for the last few outfits. All she's saying is that she can't ask an artist who is already another member's designer, presumably for the reasons I mentioned above.
This genuinely isn't a big deal, youtube commenters just blow every bit of behind the scenes talk completely out of proportion with pointless speculation.
so they use stock design to save budget now? no wonder it looks like a mix match... sad
How did you completely misunderstand the clip that badly? Your comment makes zero sense in the context of what was actually said.
Huh, interesting to hear that this is a confirmed thing within the company. I can understand this is a way to prevent too much being put onto artists’ plate, but seen in a different way, it feels like this closes doors on a lot of potential opportunities, especially more so if the talents are fans of that artist.
