Ty ty ty so much for upload. In my position bed bound ride in wheel chair if lucky....reached my sell by date so bible tells me and only pain to focus on.i just learned how use iPad and found all these books....I regained some joy ty again.
Thnx for sharing, so that I, too, could enjoy outside the UK! I find James Callis' (Count Lippe) voice range simply amazing! He could play Basil (from Disney's 'The Great Mouse Detective') with his Bertie Wooster voice (another Jarvis and Ayres production 'Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves'), and also Professor Ratigan with the Lippe voice.
Was extremly enjoyable, ending was quite different to film, but perhaps it was more in line with the book itself, non the less this was very well put together and a pleasure to listen to. :-)
It's ironic, to me at least, for remembering him as the antagonist is Die Another Day (2002). He is very good in these BBC dramatizations. Nice to listen to on a long drive.

and this is why the BBC licence is worth every penny.
God it just keeps getting better l prefer these to tv......hi from nz
This is a fun performance. I would also recommend the performance of the original book by a single reader.
I agree. Thunderball happens to be one of my top 5 favorite Bond novels.
Thanks for the upload! Much appreciated.

Looking forward to this one! Thanks Mi6!
Great upload, many thanks
YES. Thank you so much for uploading this :)
I need to sleep, but will listen to this later,,,,
Toby Stephens is quite good as Bond.
Yes, excellent
fourelmscars fourelmscars His performance really fits the time period. I really believe that I'm hearing the irritable, snobby Bond of the novels
He should voice Bond in a video game.
Very good indeed. The whole cast.

I wish they would do all the novels
Well they nearly have - Moonraker goes out this afternoon, and that's the seventh in this series of adaptations...
Toby Stephens. A "treasure hunt". In Nassau... I'm trying real hard not to make any comparison here.
I've heard a great narration by Stephens as Bond; reading from Russia with love; he was excellent.
Tom Conti is SO good as Largo
Largo is supposed to be Italian !!
So why does he do a Spanish accent . ? And a cringe Spanish accent at that ?!
@@2msvalkyrie529 Oh I know. Why would a actor of Italian descent play an Italian character Spanish?
Thunderball... my favourate Bond movie!
Captain Flint as James Bond.
Peaceful vibes music@the play is far true to the book ,film for the eyes ,books imagination ,play for ears
Excellent ....Apart from the usual dollop of Ham dished up
by Tom Conti . More suited to pantomime .
One day the lost dossiers on MI1,2 AND 3 will be discovered. I am on the case .I've got a snorkel 🙂
Toby "Die Another Day" Stevens
