General Coin and Gun Exchange website: www.generalcoin...
It's a 10/22.
The least they could've done is build an en-bloc clip system like an original Garand. Especially the ping, lol
no ping. that sucks!
Tommy Sands : That’s what I’m looking for.
Couse it use mag instead of clip
It’s a 10/22 with more wood lmao
For $900.00 its overprized...
angelo quiles might as well get the real thing in 30-06.
@@mikeyruiz1620 CMP has ones for 650 at the lowest rack grade
Waay overpriced. Just like the real thing.
Why would anyone pay $900 for this!? I have one, it's a $250 ruger 10/22 with a $175 stock...
Where did you get the stock? This company appears to be ot of business,
Yours doesn't have a steel receiver. Or real Garand National Match sights. The weight isn't correct. The quality is also lower on the conversion kit that's out there.
As far as why it costs so much more. Diminishing returns. The budget version is always a multitude less, because there isn't a linear correlation between increase in quality of final product, and the cost associated with the production processes that create an increase in the quality of the final product. This is basic shit here.
CMP sells real ones for 800 ...LOVE the idea, but the price? OMG!
Have you seen the hoops and hidden charges associated with the CMP?
What happened at the end there, did the gun hicup?
$900, I will rather buy the original for this price...
Hopefully, no one will get "M1 thumb" with this rifle! I want one. :)
p71collector No M1 thumb here! uses a 10/22 mag
GunTimez how did the M1 function? I have heard one horror story of it functioning poorly. There is a local shop that has one yet for sale and I'm just trying to get some insight! Thanks!
This would be awesome if it wasn’t so overpriced. You can get an actual M1 Garand in good condition for less than that at the CMP.
thats all kinds of badass
Sure is!
I want this and the M14 version. I'm too much of an M1 rifle fan to get one and not the other lol.
Plisken X51mm I want them both too! lol
GunTimez #Josh
Heck yeah man.
It would be cool if it took clips like the real m1.
They still make these?
It's cool and all but where is the ping?
I unironically would buy this 10/22 cos-playing as an M1
Just discovered this last night and very disappointed today to discover that evidently these are no longer available. Looks like Kingston Armory no longer exists. ??? I carried the M-14 with full auto selector in Nam in the Marine Corps. If these were still available I'd HAVE TO buy one! Probably didn't sell enough to be profitable. Very sad........
You can buy a real M1 Garand in Field Grade for $650 and a Service Grade for $750 from the CMP. Already have a Ruger 10/22.
I'm a ww2 firearm fanatic and actually on my bucket list is to Fire original M1 Garand so I would absolutely kill to have one of these because it's probably as close as I'm going to get haha are these still available for sale or are they discontinued
Griffin Young last I heard was company is now out of biz
Good to play with 22lr
Isn’t the garand a top loading gun with an auto ejecting magazine
It is. Only it feeds from and ejects a clip, not a magazine.
Can you still order one of those from Kingston Armory?
I believe they are now out of business
It annoys me so much that it doesn’t have that famous **PING** when the clip comes out. Seriously if somebody made something like that I would definitely get it.
Now you cannot find any of these! And when you do, they range in price from 1200 to 1500
how much trigger-pull does it have
Why cant we have 22 lr stripper clips
Michigan man?
Close! Other side of the lake
@@GunTimez I just seen the faygo
They are out of business bankruptcy
IT FIRED 10 TIMES
How much do these normally go for
How did u bought that I was on the website and I couldn’t buy it
maurice Prey I believe the company has since went out of business. I'd give general coin and Gun Exchange a call and see if they still have one. If the do, as long as your in the US I believe they could ship to your local licensed firearm dealer
Close up of rear site operation? Need maor, moar!!
If a clip popped out and made the iconic ping sound, id consider shelling out the cash. But as it stands? Sorry
Would be cool if it cost around $200 not $850
i wouldn't say just like one
You sound Canadian.
Looks cool but is missing something very important
Angus is all grown up..
Remember when ya made slushies? Faygo remembers
You're from Wisconsin aren't you?
Jacob Warder yesir
GunTimez #Josh where At? I'm from Wisconsin too!
i lived in onalaska, WI, anyone know where thats at?
yes@@davidkeith5377
AND THE REAL M1 GARAND HAD 8 SHOTS, SO THIS IS TECHNICALLY NOT IN THE LEAST AN M1 GARAND
Review is lame. Instead of showing us groups on paper he shows us soda cans falling at unknown distance. Commenters are too for telling us the rifle is just a 10/22 with a Garand stock. Price out a STEEL 10/22 reciever, 24” barrel, finished walnut Garand stock and furniture and a Jard trigger and let us know the price of the parts. The rifle is a reasonable, not excact copy of a Garand. Would be good for close range or indoor shooting
IT LOOKS LIKE ONE
ITS SEMI AUTOMATIC
THATS IT
WHAT $ 900.00
I just saw a video about a .22 caliber 1911. I was disgusted but was curious so I decided to see if there was anything worse, I found this monstrosity. I hate this
It looks like BB gun
No famous clip sound = not a garand
*ping*
fart operated not gas operated hahaha
I wouldn't buy this because it doesn't have the Ping
BOOOO NO PING BOOOOOOO
I'm sorry, but that thing looks like a toy.
no ping and 10 rounds. this is a TERIBLE GUN I WANT A PING! PING! PING!!! PING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk, Talk, but not much about the rifle itself.
The shooting without the "ping" is like drunk sex where you go through the motions but you just can't climax!
I just got mine a year ago off Gunbroker.com. I really hate how heavy they made it. The only thing people don’t like about the real M1 is the front heavy weight and Kingston Armory installed a fake steel tube in the front so I removed mine and it’s SO MUCH BETTER. It’s a hidden steel tube internally so it doesn’t take away the gas plug replica system.
Another thing I hate is the big gap in front of the rear sights. While holding the rifle it makes the sights feel WAY TOO HIGH. It wouldn’t be bad if they filled in that gap with a more mass to make it a smoother looking rifle. It just feels like a M1 Garand with a huge bite taken out of it above the chamber. The videos does this no justice, holding it really feels weird nothing in front of the rear sights.
It’s amazing though, I’ll never sell mine. With me removing that front internal steel bar that was VERY HEAVY, the rifle feels so much better to hold and shoot. If you find one, BUY IT!!! They made 3k of them and I got 0967
