So..I am here because I am interested in learning 3DMax and Corona or Vray. I am at 0 level...this is so overwhelming! You've got serious skills. Hope someone is paying you well..:))
Wonderful tutorial! I understood how to use these tips. But I would like to ask you, are you planning to make a new tutorials of Corona Render? Also, could you make a tutorial of photorealistic exterior ? Thank you very much.
This may sound crazy but I actually used this image (interior design) to practice water color in year 1997 when I was studying Diploma in Interior Design. It may be from an old magazine.
Thank you Poliigon for this great video, could you please define what is the settings for the environment maps you put around the windows? Environment pictures materials.
Thumbs up and subscribe too for that very good tut , i been looking for that from along time . i don't know why most videos for corona are in different languages. Very good mate
I am looking at Corona and Comparing to VRay. I am confused by your statement, Its faster or slower than VRay? How does the functionality compare? Thanks
micah mcneely in terms of settings and material maps it'd faster. You only really need to adjust how many passes and resultion you want. Corona is smart enough to calculate the quality after that. You can also just let it running much like Maxwell untill you get image quality. It handles maps faster too and you can basically use just diffuse map and output reflection map from it and other stuff.
Ricardo Chavez I got Corona recently and I noticed that it goes on “forever”. From some research I think 30-60 passes is good in general. Is there a way to choose the quality you want and Corona will set the number of passes to a fixed amount. Thanks.
Today i will instal corona switching from vray..and im afraid i dont know exactly how this engine wokrs but looks easier than vray..i think the material part its complexe..tho
Nah, its pretty much the same, you can setup materials like you do in vray its not really much different. Take a look at the offical corona channel here for some basic and advanced material tutorials. I like the material preview of corona, it pretty much what you see is what you get. As far as the engine goes, corona is very easy to setup, you will love it - even tho vray has become much easier to setup with the latest release.
It's just the way that Corona works in the way that it reads black and white values (Pure white representing a value of 1.0 and pure black representing a value of 0.0). In this case if you want the gloss value to be more rough and less mirror-like, then you introduce black values and the stronger the darkness the greater the effect. Other renderers might be different and have those values inverted however, so it really depends on what software you're using.
mate you should learn to use snap and align tools. placing those lights would have taken me maybe 1/5th or even 1/10th of the time spent in this tutorial using align + space bar and similar smaller refinements of the workflow. not trying to brag just want to inform people that this type of work doesn't have to be this tedious at all!
You can do all this without PS, but you have to know how to use cororan rednerer! It is capable of rendering without need for this kind of post production!
This is true, Corona is capable of a great deal of post production effects, however I didn't use it because post processing solutions like photoshop, after effects, nuke etc. are generally more professional workflows because of the multiple layers or nodes available to make complex adjustments.
A GREAT TUTORIAL WHICH COVERS ALMOST EVERYTHING.THANK YOU SO MUCH.
unbelievable, you are amazing visualizer. you show clearly everything. i really appreciated to your work.

thats coool
this video very helpful for me, hope that u will share more experience ^^, thanks u !!
Use "load files into stack" in Photoshop to open all layers in one psd. This saves some time.
Stunning tutorial man! Thanks! Please, share something about exterior daylight rendering with Corona.
Thank you Poliigon for this great video, could you please define what is the settings for the environment maps you put around the windows? Environment pictures materials.
Muchas gracias!!!!Excelente tutorial Muy bueno. Practico y claro - Thank you very much !!!! Excellent tutorial Very good. Practical and clear
super well explained. thanks, mate :-)
Great tutorial, thank you!

but i wish if there is any more talking about the setting for corona.
Everything I learned about the Corona render settings can be found in this official video: th-cam.com/video/8CC5Gn431wA/w-d-xo.html
nice, what graphics card do you use?
Awesome ! Thanks a lot
Very nice tutorial
Can you share your pc configuration as mine is 8gb, 2gb graphic but corona too slow
Thanks man! it helps a lot.
Very cool!
Sir. only one doubt... How many pass you render or how much time u spent on rendering??? please explain it shortly...
amazing
very good
love Corona ,although its slower to render than Vray, at the end of the day it's a 100 times faster for the final image and soooo much easier!

Although it's slower, it's faster xD
micah mcneely I found Corona alot faster than Vray.

Very sow calculation but faster in terms of work process. But very annoying to wait that much

Thanks.
can i ask what is you computer specs. my max is not like that. having some logs on closing and opening render.
My corona render taken more time.... create continue passes...and not clean my render view...u can help me....
Am i wrong? But i see a lot of noise above the frigde on that wall i mean exactly above there is that black over there
If it's small noise you're seeing then it's noise from not having enough render samples, which would clear up more if I allowed it to render longer.

Why do we use the primarily white one (for smudges etc)?
It's just the way that Corona works in the way that it reads black and white values (Pure white representing a value of 1.0 and pure black representing a value of 0.0). Hello...What kind of CPU did you used for this render?
But Where is the Scene it self ???
and maps to allow downloading?
This is the original scene file: www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-scene-country-kitchen/1017093
Wtf...corona???😱😱...2y ago???😱😱
Crazy right ! Its before it time.
