  • Hey guys, In this video, I will show you how to do interior lighting with corona renderer and 3ds max.
You will learn how to do that with the sun and sky, HDRI images, and how to add some extra artificial lights to get a uniform looking light all over the scene. and also I'll teach you how to use multiple environment lights with the Lightmixer in order to extract many different moods out of only one render. so, make sure to watch the whole video so you don't miss anything.
This tutorial has been done with: 3ds max 2020 and corona renderer 5
I have already made another video about how to model the same scene that you can watch from here: • Video
let me know about your workflow in the comments, maybe you could change my mind about mine ...

Tip: With Corona 6, we DO NOT NEED PORTALS anymore, Corona uses a adaptive sampler now that remove the needs of light portal materials! Have fun!

    Very helpful! Thank you! Subbed!
Quick question tho, where did you get the models for the buildings outside? Are they detailed models or just blocks with maps? Thanks!

I've downloaded those models long time ago. to be honest, I can not even remember where did I get them from... 😅. but models are with details.

You’re tutorials are awesome. I’m new to Corona. Made the switch from blender to 3ds Max. In blender you’re quality is determined by samples. How does corona work? Do you just leave it and the longer it renders the better it gets? Or are there any settings you need to tweak to get higher quality renders? Any help would be appreciated. Liked and subscribed 👍
