Sponsored or not, a tech channel should highlight both pros and cons and unfortunately you failed to emphasize that it does not come with google services and also never gave clear information whether this is running HarmonyOS Next or does it run Android.
It is an ad in all but name. A sign of the times with OEMs finding they can pay creators for positive videos and eliminate any negativity for their products. Nearly every Windows laptop is sponsored and seemingly, this has now spread to Android smartphones.
You can very easily get google services on it, simply by installing microg, although I agree that he should have made that clear. The international version of the mate x6 runs Android (Emui OS 5.0) not Harmony OS Next.
This is outdated information, it's well known that the AppgGallery provides MicroG, the Aurora Store and Google services now + not everyone needs Google Services and will be more than happy with HOS5!
@@iMrParker What are you talking about? They get two years warranty, with regards to software support I can´t find any information but it should be at least 3 or 4 years.
@@Dare2Blink That's pretty good for phones of the past but Google, Samsung, and Apple offer 8 years of FEATURE os updates and also have 2 year warranty except for the US. Plus they have Google services and have proper Android. Huawei also releases OS updates super late (like Samsung). And no, the X6 does not have 5g
I don't care for gold accents that Huawei seems to associate with luxury status that seems to be cultural thing in China. That aside, the hardware looks amazing, it's obvious the extent of care Huawei went to to make this foldable. If this was sold in the US with full Google services and at a slightly lower pricepoint than the going $1800-$2,000 I just may consider it as my first foldable since it doesn't compromise on cameras like Google and Samsung do.
If this is how "reviews" are going forward on this channel, I'm unsubscribing 😔 For crying out loud, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has cameras above this and it was released this year! Please make fair comparisons rather than just reading from the company marketing script.
It would be great if sponsored reviews had thumbnails that loaded a sponsored tag so I don't waste my time starting the video. I feel that creators are taking their subscribers for a ride with endless sponsored coverage. The tide will turn and people will simply stop watching. I understand that it makes good money, but cringeworthy OTT praise that I have seen all too often on these ads make me want to unsubscribe. Try some other format rather than these boring copy and paste ads regurgitating the same spiel. At least you kept it to 6 mins for those that could make it to the end! Sorry for the rant, but as a techie it is getting harder and harder to find non-paid for reviews.
I've been saying this for weeks. I do think they upgraded the hardware in this device over the v3 . Which makes sense given it released like 5 months later.
@@Dare2Blink may be slightly better, but not from what I've seen so far..and durability wise, have you seen tests on v3? Look at what gsmarena did to it.

It ruin emui the same as the mate xt. No google whatsoever also no 5g at all. Great hardware tho

Hay what about the Google services?
And how many years of OS support? Chinese phones are cool and all but they have so many downsides
None it runs emui, also no 5g.
@@Fosterjuice25 it does have 5g, It will just not show the logo, depending on the market where you are, but you will get 5g speeds.

I'd be very interested once Huawei can again run Android and Google Services. I still miss my Mate20 Pro.
I honestly did not see consistency between camera lenses
A paid advertisement brought to you by a tech review channel 🙄
As long as it's clearly disclosed, which is the case here, I don't see a problem.
Not sure I heard a real review. Was there anything negative? Forget the fact that in America, it's a dead company.
It's fully disclosed so I'll bear that in mind.
It is disclosed but a tech reviewer has no business doing paid ads in my view.
@@vincentsantucci2478 who are you to say that a tech reviewer has no business doing paid ads... as long as its fully disclosed, there is no problem.
Is this available in EU market/UK?

Amazing phone
i can't 'brain' the price though (myr22k in Malaysia) ...f**kin' insane !!
Why the comment sections are full with USA bot?
As long as the warnings how to handle the phone are longer than the phone itself, this will be a niche product.
Does android auto work??
Google pay on this phone? i saw im touching in to get on the train.
I'll wait for an unbiased review. This was about as cringe worthy as they get

Yeah me too, unsubscribed!
take a shot every time he says multitasking
No thanks, I want to live
Is this an Advertisement or a Review? 🤨
Cringe as a tech channel loses all credibility on a paid review, how many other previous reviews have been so 'unbiased' 🙄🙄🙄 what a own goal !
The phone is already riddled with screen issues reports. 😂
And you can play netflix at 240p reso 😂
Do better.
Damn this AI is talking over for real
Kirin 9020 bruh😂😂😂😂
No thanks.
Looks a lot like the Honor Magic 3

Huawei propaganda. You must take your viewers and subscribers for mugs. Embarrassing.

Get Honor V3, its all that + google services + better chip.

nop. The cameras on the Mate X6 are far better than the Honor, not even comparable. It will also be far more durable .
@Dare2Blink really the v3 has a 50, 50, 40 mp setup, x6 has a 50, 48,40 setup. I get they r newer but saying they aren't comparable is a stretch.

I like Huawei, but you never shouldve done a paid ad.... Hurts your credibility. This is cringe
good sponser payment, terrible company and product
