Yes, it has changed, but that information is relevant. Today’s QB needs to be good at everything. He even needs to be able to catch the ball on occasion.

A two headed monster gives more production and cuts down on injury. Warren is not an every down back, that’s why he effective. Smaller backs can hit the hole quicker and linemen can’t see them until they’re already in the backfield.

Secondly, even if people could cite a ceiling for him, how would they prove that it’s higher than Russ’s ceiling? Russ is still playing and has achieved a lot. Can Fields achieve more than Russ? What about his first three years suggests that?

It’s like these guys have never played the game. His accuracy/ability to run if receiver 1 is not open well let’s keep in mind he has had d linemen in his face on the snap of the ball for 3 years. It’s no secret he needs to develop but don’t speak on the man like he is trash. 5 of the bears losses from memory this past season - 1. Mooney dropped a game winning TD pass in the end zone that hit both his hands, 2. He missed 2 maybe 3 games to injury, and the defense lost 3 games due to defensive 4th quarter last drive TD given up. Through all of this he won 7 games.
Oh yea the play calling was horrific. We didn’t have pass protection but we had 2 to 3 good RB that didn’t run enough. 2nd n 5 we shouldn’t be running our QB. He had designed run plays like he was a RB, why?? Who was sacked more than him these past 3 years??? J. Fields is going to shock a lot of people when he gets his opportunity.
