I have this with the woofer and it totally smacks. It's thrilling for movies and atmos works very well.

@@itz_br3cci883 yes. At 200W it's more than powerful enough for most rooms and it feels pretty tight during music or movie playback. It's a good product
I was on a client visit today in a reseller shop that had this soundbar, I asked him what he recommended for a pairing to my LG Oled. He played a demo at less than half volume and the whole store shaked, I heard sounds coming from above, the sides and everything - I literally got goosebumps. Absolutely amazing experience, and I REALLY WANT ONE now lmao
Guess he had it paired to a few other speakers then, haha.

@@NicoDelCap It's a steal at that price. The only part that's a bit of a shame for me personally is that the display is on the top of the soundbar. It sounds great though, so I'd definitely buy it at that price.

I have the smaller brother to this one. The multibeam 700 and paired with the smaller sub s and for it's sound output is amazing. So much so I have had to turn the bass down as it actually rumbles the room. Update wise not had many, though a proper app for twerking the settings would have been nice. All in its a top end soundbar and for me and more so my wife she loves the look of in our living room compared to the old lg black one I had. I have it in the light grey colour.

Good to hear, just bought this at the store, was looking at the Sonos one (gen 2 or something, similar size) which had much better clarity, but in a last attempt I tried this one and it had less clarity, but much better deepness, surround and bass. Could only test it with the store music though, so will do a another test back home.

@@TotallydubbedHD just been researching how to get 4k120 pass though or earc. Looks like Samsung have launched an update for my TV recently (Q80r) and if that’s not true, you can buy an Earc converter now. They’re a few hundred pounds for a good one, but well worth if you have an older TV.
Do you know if the Citation Surrounds are still in production? very difficult to find/buy in germany. What would be your choice: HK Citation 1100 with Citation Sub and Surroundspeaker or the Samsung Q990 Setup? (If price is the same)

Well, I've not tried the Sony but given my experiences of their products I'd never recommend them. The HK on the other hand is pretty impressive!
What about Sonos Beam Gen 2? Is Harman better or not?

I looked and tested this specific one in the store, I play on my ps5 on a LG oled C2. So is the only downside for the soundbar not having the 120 hz option? I mainly play games and watch movies over streaming services.
In terms of connectivity, yes. Watched the video, I presume?
If your tv uses hdmi 2.1, you should connect your ps5 to your tv and the soundbar to the tv also. Be sure to connect the soundbar using your hdmi arc port when doing so
Hi, a bit late on this, great video ! I have a hard time choosing between this one the ambeo mini and the ht a5000 from Sony, could you help me ? Is one of them a clean better option ?
Not tried the Sony, but can't see myself ever recommending any Sony soundbar!

Thanx for your review. I have one question when speaking about 630W. What kind of watts are you talking about?
I'm pretty sure it's not RMS watts which is the only real measure used in the pro audio industry... it seems that the 630w advertised here is simply a marketing argument concerning the maximum power possible during a peak of a few milli seconds. This is irrelevant and misleads the consumer....Am I wrong? ;-)
I can only go based on what the manufacturer provides, which I'm pretty sure is peak power not RMS.

The led's on the front, aren't there to help you set it up. Those are for the smart assistants.

To answer the question I would go for jbl Bar800 or 1000 the new series they include a subwoofer from the box.. Would be fun to compare them to HK 1100 since they are I assume based on similar drivers and built...

I had the Q990B and now I have HK citation multibeam 1100 with 10" sub and surrounds and trust me they are nothing alike, Harman Kardon wipes the flor with Samsung. Samsung owns HK and JBL, same family but not the same ;)
It's like buying a Volkswagen and hopping it's as good as Porsche because it's the same company 🤣
@@spiderman3950 of course, that will undoubtedly be a great setup, but one that also costs significantly more. At which point, getting the Sennheiser Ambeo Max with a wired subwoofer will be a far better solution for most!
@@TotallydubbedHD Sennheiser with sub and without rear speakers(not avaliable) costs alot more than HK citation multibeam 1100 with 10"sub and with rear speakers.
I disagree, Sennheiser is not worth it. The way Harman Kardons multibeam technology cooperates with rear speakers is amazing, really gives you surround sound, Sennheiser cant give you that! When you have HK citation multibeam 1100+10" sub+rear speakers with a total 930 W it's just amazing, sound quality fantastic when you have the whole package.

And you're right, the Sennheiser combo will be more and doesn't have surrounds or a wireless sub - but for utmost sound quality, I'd pick the Sennheiser combo.
FYI - full HK setup comes in at £2,000, Sennheiser at £2,400.
I am on the fence about this or the Philips Fidelio B97 or FB1.

Setup through eArc paired with a lg cs 55 Oled. Only had it a week so far.
Atmos content is great. I did what this guy said and paired to Google home. Hopefully updated automatically
I prefer the LCD being on the top so it cannot be seen while viewing the tv
But with LCDs on soundbars they turn off completely within seconds!

My subjective opinion when compared with bose 600. For Atmos content MB is way better, for rest -TV/Stereo/5.1/Music, Bose is better.

Can two subwoofers be paired ?
Don't agree on the display in front, its ugly hard to read anyway and the whole idea is that you can use the touch panel when you are near the device and use the remote when you are further away, i don't need display feedback on the frond to remember me what button I'm pressing on the remote.

7:35 you placed the tv too low it should be 42 to 45 inches placed in the middle of the tv from the floor (center to the eye level)

Great stuff! I can find this soundbar with Citation Surround and Citation Sub S at exactly the same price as Samsung HW-Q990C. Which one would you recommend as a set? Main use is TV media consumption playback and movies playback, not so much for music I have a dedicated 2.1 stereo system for that. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I'd suggest the HK setup if you don't can't accommodate the rears. The Samsung will give you a better room filling experience, while the HK will do better across the sound frequency range (especially with that sub)
I got HW-Q990C. It's trash. I also have a Citation 700 also. Even small Citation sounds much better, not talking about Citation 1100.
