Spad XIII under construction

This Spad XIII is being constructed at the Golden Age Air Museum in Bethel Pennsylvania. This air museum constructs full scale airworthy biplanes using the actual plans, construction methods and materials that were used for the original aircraft.

I may be mistaken, but I don't think the Spad had steel tubing in the fuselage, It was wire braced wood.
