Best leather holster on the market. I’ve used mine for 5 years and it kept its shape and functionality perfectly. Can’t recommend it high enough, US made.
Thank You Maker Matt. You made my decision easy.. I was looking at that Kusiak leather for my p365xl., and didnt see many reviews on it. Very clear and concise and answered the same questions I would have thought of. Didnt know about the wait period. But IDC. I'm getting one. Thanks again man.
You’re welcome Rusty! That’s why i make these videos… i want people to have a detailed review so they can decide if they want it or not. Thanks for the positive comment
After watching this… I will definitely be checking out Kusiak. I think the price justifies the quality of their product 100%. Ill see how I feel about the urban carry but this one definitely caught my eye. This doesn’t look like your average $70 holster. I would have never found this searching on google. Thank you
The urban carry is a really good holster and you should be happy with it especially in winter time when wearing heavier cloths and jackets … but the kusiak is a “next level” holster in my opinion… worth every penny. Thanks for your comments. 🙏🏼
@@makermatt So I got the urban carry holster today for my Beretta 92fs and I loved the look As soon as I took it out the bag. The holster is actually very comfortable and allows me to conceal my full sized beretta In the appendix position which is pretty amazing considering it doesn’t have the claw attachment. Retention is perfect and the draw is nice and smooth going in and out. The only thing I don’t like is that the clip is too high which makes the gun ride too low and its hard to get my fingers under the gun without having to move it up a bit but its no big deal. With some practice it won’t be much of a problem. The holster does not scratch my gun either which is why I love leather holsters. I will be keeping this one but I will also buy the Kusiak Leather holster in the near future as well! At first I was starting to not like the urban carry holster because of the problem with it riding too short but it just takes some getting used to. 8/10
Great info. Make it a habit to press your thumb to the back of the slide every time you holster so some day you don’t draw with a round out of battery.
Hey Matt. I returned my Qseries holster for my Shield Plus for exactly the reason you showed on the video - the holster lowering off the trigger guard and not holding retention.
I agree that it's NOT a big deal to see some air behind the trigger, BUT I also wish that the holsters covered up it up (AND it doesn't seem like it would be hard to do, right?). I normally like a 15 degree cant, so the WINGS are a bit too high with kydex holsters...but I can shave them down. ** My bodyguard 2.0 has a pretty pronounced mag-release button, so I like that my kydex holster covers it--but I am thinking of trying out a Kusiak and seeing if there's any issue with my body actuating the mag-release (I'm a big guy so there's a lot to press up against it).
I’m older & getting a gut. But still slim down when I don’t eat everything late at night. Glad I came back to see the last one. I am all about quality. Not as much disposable income as usual right now but I don’t mind paying for good leather. Shoes or whatever it might be. Emailed Kusiac right when they started up. Pre c19 I think. Anyhow.Take care.
Thanks for the review. Very helpful. Getting ready to order my Kusiak for my Micro 9. Which color holster and claw is that? I really like the color combo.
I got the signature minimalist canted tuckable since I carry 4 O'clock, not appendix. If I recall the holster was only about $30 or $40. My 365 is also an MS version but the signature minimalist doesn't need a special "MS" version because there is no special safety indent in the sweat shield. I really like mine a lot. Great retention and not collapsible for reholstering even though its the thinnest holster they have. The leather treatment makes it stiff enough not to collapse or bend over. It will bend but not bend over yet its still soft comfortable leather. Stiff but not so stiff that it sticks or pokes you. Its a great holster. From my understanding Kusiak leather is so popular that they are backed up with back orders. They have more business than they can handle. Haha. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I have other leather holsters for my sub compacts that are not Kusiak and they work just fine. I think one IWB is a Galco and it fits both sub compacts and one is a cheap OWB Bulldog slide holster that fits the sub compacts and the 365.
@@makermatt Maybe three or four weeks. Not long at all but Kusiak wasn't as busy back then as they are now. Yes the claw might have made the difference in your case.
It’s fantastic… i use it almost daily and it still looks and functions like new. I’ve had it for almost 3 years now. I bought another one for my new EDC pistol and i don’t even have the gun yet 😂. I’ll do a review on that one when i get it. It still takes 3+ months to get one. The time is the biggest problem with buying one of these holsters … but worth it in my opinion
I can't believe how much the Lockleather holster printed on you, wow! Regarding the Kusiak however, much much better and very beautiful looking leather. My question is, with the Kusiak, are you able to get a full grip on the gun when drawing from inside the waistband? I only ask because it seems like the belt clip sits rather high meaning it makes the holster ride very deep in the pants. Thanks.
Thats an excellent question! Yes i can get a good grip on the weapon when its in my waist band. I could see it being more of a problem if you have very large hands… but if you have large hands the 365 is gonna be a problem for you no matter the holster i would think.
He says there’s no ammo in the firearm he’s says he’s not an idiot, and I’m not calling him an idiot, but he is flagging himself when showing clear and he does that twice
Poor tater... This is a beautiful holster, though I'm curious why it costs almost triple the standard holster they sell. The only difference seems to be the claw. I'm sure it has to do with hand-making the claw - but I'm sure there is a more economical option for it.
Goddamn guy just get five Hawaiian shirts, you'll never print again. Best decision i ever made. Plus, people love a guy in a Hawaiian shirt so you'll get compliments on the shirts as well.
I’m always leery, when a maker has a product themselves . It is an oxymoron. I’ve seen one video stating your clips for the holster is sub-standard & tried to retify it thru your company and you guys never replied. If I pay $200 I had better get a reply. I was going to buy one for my fiancé, because I thought it was genius for a leather holster to have a CLAW . When I saw that video of a “NO REPLY” it was a no-go for me as a military veteran. Every piece of my equipment needs to be flawless. I guess I’ll stick to my go -to Kydex guys Bravo Concealment and MFT.
Hi friend… i have no idea what you’re talking about. I don’t have any affiliation with Kusiak. I recently payed $180 for another holster for my new EDC. It was a custom holster and i emailed them and they responded to me in one business day. The quality is fantastic and so far they have been a wonderful company to deal with. The only downside that i can find is that it does take 3-4 months to get your holster. But i think this holster is a 1 to 2 DECADE holster. So 4 months to get it in the long term is nothing. And yes… it is expensive for a holster. But the pistol I’m going to be carrying in it is almost $2,000 so… $180 is reasonable for a holster that should last for 20 years. The company has responded to me every time i have emailed them. Please watch the video again and understand that I DONT MAKE THEM. thank you 🙏🏼
@@makermatt not trying to be a creep. Holster searches drive people nuts. Me anyway. Smallest detail on a holster can make it or break it. With those belts you tuck the extra behind the belt and can adjust for weight fluctuations, gun sizes ect. Would not expect it to be good for any thing except a subcompact. All this crap is expensive & some has tiny print about high restock fees. VZ grip got me on that once.adjusted them for hrs & still a slight gap. I can fix it when I want to put the time in. Russet
the only brand i use
Either these are for derringer pistols or this dude has Shaq sized hands!!
