I'm Worried Mom Will Prefer My 'Conventional' Makeover | TRANSFORMED

COUNT AIVIL, 23, from Canada, describes her unique style as a 'Gothic Shironuri', which takes inspiration from the Visual Kei music movement and old Japanese theatre. This amazing look consists of decorative white face paint which resembles wearing a traditional Japanese porcelain mask. Count Aivil told Transformed: "Growing up I was raised very modest, but then I would go online and see people looking very different. Because it was so different, I thought it was so beautiful and I just wanted to be a part of that." When Count Aivil found her true style she grew into her confidence but, despite having two incredibly supportive sisters, she has received judgements about her look. Count Aivil said: "I go to the grocery store, I don't think about how I look until people stare and judge me. The people who don't like it tend to make a mockery of you very loudly from a far... And that's ok. The way I'm allowed to dress differently is the same way people are allowed to have their different opinion on how I look." Today, with the help of Transformed's regular Makeup Artist Victoria, Count Aivil, will be surprising her family by transforming from her 'Gothic Shironuri' look to a 'Conventional City Girl'. But how will Count Aivil's mom and sister feel? Will they want the 'City Girl' to stay? Or will they realise that 'Gothic Shironuri' is the better fit for Count Aivil?

At least the wig didn’t look horrible for once but the clothes are still hideous 😅 the makeup artist did a great job. She looks amazing both ways but I think her original look is so stunning
Yeah... why do they always use the same horrible wig... a good wig isn't expensive. And the clothes are always what a 12 year old boy thinks a girly girl would wear. I'm so confused... a good stylist shouldn't be hard to find.
It’s because they put a hat over it lmaoo but they really need to be better about putting them in better quality clothes and wigs or even having more than one option for them incase something doesn’t fit or work right the makeup really did look great on her though!

Her usual makeup style is very creative and unique but the make over look is pretty and revealed her natural beauty. The wig looked nice and suits her. Her natural eyes are so pretty. The outfit they put her in was very unflattering though.
I think she liked the new look more than she was letting on and her family's reaction made her feel like she shouldn't wear it. When people say your real face "isn't you," even though they mean it in a good way, it can be hurtful. Her before outfit was more form flattering but the after makeup is so pretty and lets her real features shine! I think the new colors looked really good on her too

The after outfit was terribly unflattering. I agree with her mom that it was nice to see all her facial features. She’s very talented in her own genre. She could blend the two for occasions where a normie look would be better suited but rock her individual style whenever she wants.

What a beautiful face! You couldn't tell that she was beautiful covered up with all the other makeup.
As for other people's reactions out in public, people forget that dress up is to be for certain events, not for everyday. You're not going to see Alice Cooper donned in his makeup and outfits on the golf course or lounging at home with friends. Specific dress for specific events, otherwise you stick out like a really bad sore thumb.
