Put a lid on those buckets to slow down evaporation. - not a sealed lid, just cover the top loosely
Interesting idea, but the bucket drains quite fast so it probably is not needed.

My weed plants get the same method I use 2ft deep water stakes then drip into them and my plants always say oh yea..ps always ph your water before filling the bucket pro tip...drip drip

I tried that dripper setup. Didn't work.
Better luck with leaving the drippers off and controlling the flow out of the bucket.

Ya, sorry I don't get the point of this.....if you got to go over to fill the bucket isn't it just as easy to water the plants yourself without the cost of all this and the unsightly buckets everywhere.
