40세를 불혹이라고 합니다. 불혹은 한국에서 40세를 다르게 부르는 말인데요. 공자의 논어에서 나온 말이에요. 세상에 미혹되지 않는 다는 뜻이죠. 어쩌면 가장 나다운 내가 되는 나이라고 생각합니다. 행복은 일부러 찾지 않을 때 찾아오고, 가장 나다운 내가 될 때 느낄 수 있다고 생각해요.
The age of 40 is called Bulhok. Bulhok is a different term for someone in their 40s in Korea. It comes from the Analects of Confucius. It means not being deceived by the world. I think this is probably the age when I become the most authentic version of myself. I think happiness comes when you don't intentionally look for it, and you can feel it when you become your best self.
*P.S: I just used Google translator but it's pretty okay to understand my Korean for you btw :)
