What tuning are you in bro. The song is c major sounds like.
I tune my bass a whole step down. So the strings are A-D-G-C-F-Bb. And the song is in Bb and it goes up. I’m playing in the third position which is technically a C on Regular Bass but since I tuned it down. My C is a Bb. And every note on the Bass is lowered 2 semi-tones or 1 whole step.
I love the whole warmer tone I get from a slightly loosen strings and the string tension works best for me since I don’t play too hard.

I have an other 6 string bass, a Yamaha TRB6II.
I am planning to buy another 6string bass (don't blame me, because once you try the low B string, you can't get enough of it).
Since I'm playing with a 6 string bass, I don't manage to come back to the 4string bass.
@@Scarabee80 It’s all about preferences. This was my only Bass for years. I even Tune it down a whole step which will be a low A. 🤩🤩 That’s something. And it gives it a warmer sound to the overall tone and also I love the feel of the string tension since I don’t play too hard. I recently got a Sire V7 5 strings to try it out. I ended up loving it so much. It ended up being my main Bass nowadays. Specially for the price it’s too good. But I still keep my whole step down tuning. I couldn’t let it go. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
But I’m thinking to get 4 strings as well. I mean I really need that. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ 🎸
