I agree on TG10s passing. Questionable at best. I fully expect(ed) Jeanty to enter the portal but Taylen must believe he'll find a team that offers generous NIL money or firmly believes he'll be sitting behind Maddux Madsen next season. With the number of QB;s in the portal he may find he follows Bachmaier to Louisiana Tech or similar.
@@masterfootballwithjakeposey his ceiling is limited by his passing. He threw a pick 6 that tied the bloody championship game. A championship game we wouldn’t have reached without a component qb named Madsen. I’m pretty ok with him transferring. He wasn’t the best QB on our roster, which is obvious to anyone who watched the team this year.
He also had a 70 yd TD run included in his 4 TDs, Madsen "helped" us get to 5-5. Better passing stats and more losses might be for you, but not for me. Taylen was the reason we were undefendable the last 3 games of the season. It's way easier to see you must not know much about football. Which is why you are "hApPy" he entered the portal, while Cal, Arkansas, Oregon State, Miami, Baylor, BYU and Michigan State are also happy. That's SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 & ACC all wanting him but Boise State not. Make it make sense.
@@masterfootballwithjakeposey Madsen produced accurate enough passing to make the defense back up out of the box, and he only got the chance to do so because TG10 was so bad at passing that he couldn’t run anything other than the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense, so when we needed a real drive, he had to get yanked. I know plenty about football. I know, fir example, Boise is the only school on the list of teams who lost a starting qb in the portal that benched that starter. The P5 schools want him dir the same reason recruiting homers do. He’s tall and can run. When they get him they’ll find out what we did in Washington, in Memphis, and in almost every other game this year, TG10 cannot pass accurately or make good reads. When you ask him to run routine passing plays he throws interceptions or incompletions. He’s tall and fast, and would make a great runningback, no doubt. But his passing is sporadic and unsuitable for the college game, unless you run a triple option or RPO system. Boise isn’t a rpo/trip opt. Team. We’re built to throw and Taylen cannot throw. Simple as.
What a year of ups and downs. I was in the stands in Ft. Collins to witness that ridiculous loss to Colo State. Such an improbable win for CO St that all their fans had left. There may have been 2000 Col St fans left in Canvas Stadium at the end. It was the lamest field storming I ever saw. To me, that game was worse than the UTEP game. Then the loss to Fresno State seemed to be the final nail in the coffin. When MacAllister left the team it was spun that he had quit to pursue the portal. The truth was there was more going on behind the scenes. Avalos fired the Dir of External Relations for football. The next day, after Avalos firing, the Dir of Ex Rel is rehired by the Athletic Director. Apparently Avalos had created a very negative environment in the locker room and many players were ready to follow MacAllister and bail out. Spencer Danielson asked the team to give him two weeks. His excitement motivated a left for dead team to come back alive. It won him the HC job and he became the first interim HC ever in FBS history to win a championship.
I’ve been a BSU fan all of my life. TG10’s passing is underwhelming, to say the least, and he just entered the portal.
How's his rushing & overall ceiling? How does that ring feel on his finger?

Most wild season as a bronco fan to date. Nothing will ever top 2007 but this is up there as most memorable.
Amen!
I was just telling my Wife that. I’ve been a Bronco fan since the early 80’s.
This one is just extra sweet.
