It's always good to have a friend like that. As you ride with someone better, you generally also tend to ride better but you may not notice that you're getting better until you ride with someone in the other direction of skill/experience/confidence. Even among riders with a high level skill, something like how you use your brakes can spell the difference in what happens in the next few sections. You're a great rider Alex, I wish I could do all the things you can!

The commentary between the gopro footage is key. I wish more mtb youtubers did this. Probably a bit of extra work, but I think you have some of the best edited videos in the mtb youtube community
With worst flooding we've had in over 40 years and all trails a mud pit and closed this got me stoked man! thanks for sharing, loving the production of your vids

My dude, I think you got your commentary style dialed in. You were always my favorite channel because the videos were simply laid back clips of a dude stoked to ride his bike, and when you first started doing commentary I felt like that was getting taken away from. But I feel like this style put the vibe back and gave us that sweet POV footage while still letting you tell the story you want Cheers man, live free ride hard and get stoked
Perfect timing! I went to Kanuga a few weeks ago with a riding buddy/mentor after watching your last vid a bunch of times. I’m nowhere near your level but we did Rhodo and Tortuga a bunch and Hemloch once. We’re headed back tomorrow and I hope to progress on Hemloch. You nailed it about getting faster/better by riding with someone faster than you. I can’t wait for tomorrow The stoke is REAL !

Long time no se! Glad you didn't disapear from youtube. You are one of the channels that got me back into mountainbiking after nearly 2 decades when I started again last year. To Bad the weather here in switzerland is really bad at the moment and I would likely need a boat instead of a bike :D
Living in a self built van with my girlfriend and have been hitting trails along the way. We love to find some Vanlife meetups since (hopefully) we're at the tailend of this pandemic. Definitely going to check out that park when we get back to North Carolina.
