Thanks for the shoutout! I have this plane and love it or rather, I had it because during float flying (due to having destroyed the nosewheel) it got into a spin, I cut the throttle and glided back in for a landing, landed safely, turned the throttle back on to taxi annnnd the motor overreved destroyed the cowling nacelle, and prop. I originally got it as a Christmas gift and so I started a crusade of begging horizon to bring it back you wouldn’t believe how happy I was when they responded.

Good to hear from you! We totally agree, it's one of the most underrated models ever put into production. So many people missed out on this and we hope it'll come back soon so more people can experience just how much fun it really is.

I saw you fly this at Wings over Springs 2022 and was blown away by what it can do.
I've seen others fly them like you describe (circles around the field and dropping stuff), so I wasn't too impressed with the model until I saw what it could really do.

I'm totally with you on this one. I have heard that ..... New V2 is in the works. Cannot say the source but I've seen some online chatter about V2. Possibly with 4 motors and telemetry. Hopefully it's more capable. I love mine. BTW, the smooth landing on water are ON POINT. Great job.

I loved mine, until I taxied it on a dirt road and had to fix the nacelles and replace the prop. If I didn't fly it off of perfectly level asphalt it would always tip over and catch a prop. Maybe if it had a wider stance or props were moved in a bit it would be great for the places I fly.

Someone left a comment on a HH release video saying to create a umx EC1500. I replied "or just bring back the EC1500". HH left a " ; ) " as well.
It would be nice. I only want it to be in my price range, like when it was on sale for $300 before discontinued. AH...

I love my EC-1500, and I enjoy its easygoing flight envelope. Before I bought it, the previous owner had flown it 2 times, both from water. I will say that the thing that prevents me from going crazy with 3D type maneuvers is my concern that it might break up.

@@TwoBrosRCYes, yours stayed together! The thing is, I had to glue both motor pods and motor firewalls back in (which were a bit loose when I bought it.) Also, I had to re-glue the elevator servo which was almost completely unglued to the point that you could move the elevator by hand without turning the servo arm! I used hot glue, which while it works well, I still don’t want to over stress the plane since it has been glued back together.

I wish i wouldnt have listened to those lack luster reviews. My flying buddy bought one any ways and has found the same thing you have shown in this video over the months. I started to show interest in it and in eflite usual fashion, it was discontinued. I havent been able to snag one in time in marketplace. I think they will bring it back. The powersystem from the beach d18 would be perfect for thie ec1500. The thrust vectoring on a switch will be awesome.

We suspect some of those poor reviews are why it was discontinued - when "reviewers" don't give a model a fair shake (or lack the competencies to fly it to its potential), people assume that it sucks. And that's what happened here. We all know what happens when word of mouth is "this sucks" - nobody buys it. And that sucks. We love this thing because it's so unique and enjoyable to operate.

I've got 3 fuselages,2 pairs of wings,2 pairs of motors ,and 6 pairs of props for this in addition to a complete 2nd aircraft over here in Princeton NC. I need one more Cowling ,then I will have 2 of these again. I had a parachute get stuck in the cargo door... 3 times. Do you happen to have a spare Cowling I could get off of you?
