yes you can apply constraints to a body, but they will not show up in the tree. Only graphically. In assembly mode the do show up in the tree under the constraints folder
Can catia do the opposite? I am having a 3D drawing of a plastic injection mold. I want to redraw the "Runner" of the mold from the 3D drawing, is it possible?. Thank you
@@nguyenminhvo8820 unfortunately no, I don’t have access to CATIA anymore. I do training and one-on-one consulting using Fiverr with Inventor and AutoCAD.
Eng. karim Tarek it's because shrinkage. when a hot molten plastic material is cooling down, final volume is always going to be less than initial volume.
Over 10 years later, still a good Video!!!! Thank you very much!
next lecture is comming soon sir
this lecture is very nice sir👍👍👍👍
This video has helped me a lot, Thank you very much.

I would recommend sketching on the surface and projecting the geometry to recreate the runner.
@@mtmCAD I'm glad you responded, do you have any similar videos you can send me, thanks

@@mtmCAD thank you
thank u so much buddy!!! its awesome!!!
thank you! It's awesome!
What toolbar that you use to remove the part from mould
It’s the Boolean operations toolbar
Can you give constraints in a body level? where are they in the tree??
Sir i m getting It is not allowed to paste
nice work very simple thanks
Thanks man
When I insert body2 my main part body disappears. Please help.
In your tools > options. There’s a setting that says to only show active body. That’s why it’s disappearing
Where are the dimensions for the shaft that you used to make its outline into the mold? Is there a drawing? Thank you?
You don't need dimensions in this case. It just a sample to demo the functionality. Just make the box bigger than your shaft.

i want make casting for a wheel is it possible with this technique ?
That will be more complicatedl. You will need to do it in the molding workbench. There are different types to choose from.
Is there any setting paste special, its not working, it is says that paste special is not allowed

Can u send me a PM with a sample file and I can take a look at it and tell me yr exact steps?
I can't find remove
You need to be the right workbench
why the scale 1.03 can you describe it please :)
That's generally the scale factor used in industry when it comes to plastic injection molding
thanks :)

what about aluminium/iron casting? can you put a link to an article that gives adjustment factors for different process?
Can i collaborate in your channel?
Send me a PM to discuss
@@mtmCAD There is no email in your channel. My apology, I'm just new on the channel.
