You need to add virtuoso effect in tool to get glowshell material and yes it's level 3 material, and i don't know which tool you need to to upgrade to get this material, basically you need to add all tool virtuoso effects to get level 3 material - SD

U need to first make your pick axe a rank two , to do that u need to synthesize a new pick axe and make sure that while ur making the new one the lighting part if all filled up

Hey just started Quick question I use both planta and Sophie to synthesise stuff but I noticed that if I make a generic item with Sophie it'll still be grey for plancta is this okay? Do I need to remake generic items with both to advance the recipe finding?

Did you find out? I just started the game and unlocked it in recipes, you have to make sure your unlocking the recipes.

Plachta has a lower alchemy level. You need to raise it by synthesising more.
