Yes!!! I saw it a few months ago and everybody was amazing but Lindsay is a TRIUMPH. The acting and the singing both. An absolutely incredible performance and a standout even next to Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe.
I was one of the Potter fans to go during the NYTW run of Merrily and fell deeply in love with this musical. I listen to the soundtrack at least once a week and have seen the show another 3 times 😂
As a Harry Potter fan who loves Broadway and musicals and theater and is a big Lindsey Mendez fan (dogfight!!) this show was pretty much made for me I’m so glad I got to see it finally!!
If I go see Merrily We Roll, I'm going to wear a Sven hat. I'm not there to support Harry. I'm an adult, I've grown out of that. I'm there to support Kristoff 😂😂😂
See that’s the thing with me, I’m a Harry Potter fan AND a theater fan. I was a theater kid in high school, 3 years of drama class and 4 years of drama club. Unfortunately my dream of being on Broadway was never realized but I have a new passion now that which is Criminal Justice and Victim Advocacy
@@NuaraCostaReally? You figured that out all on your own? Mazel tov! Now, go ask your mommy for a sense of humor and then have somebody explain emojis to you.
@NuaraCosta ROTFL. I made a joke, you came here and added a pedantic whine, I pointed that out and you're still whining. Thanks for the laugh. Stop? It's my thread. Learn how the internet works.
Oh jeez. Who wants to bet Dan's paychecks the biggest? Also, I just realize, there's 2 Sondheim revivals running at the same time. What a time to be alive 😄
As Radcliffe is publicly a huge Sondheim fan and has been choosing projects based more on personal interest than paycheque I would be surprised if he was getting paid substantially more than his costars.
the fact that she did seth meyers and jonathan groff did jimmy fallon is very suspicious, especially on a show night. i thought the show was doing really well . . . .
The show IS doing really well, and in fact has recouped. I think this 2nd publicity push has partly to do with the Tony Awards -- Mendez, Groff and Radcliffe were ALL NOMINATED, as was director Maria Friedman and the production itself -- and partly to remind people that the show's limited run has been extended to July 7. I saw it in February, and it's terrific... and I'm not normally a huge Sondheim fan. The three leads are individually and collectively superb.
We saw Merrily We Roll Along a couple weeks ago and Lindsay was amazing. It was one of the best shows we’ve seen in a very long time.

I absolutely love Lindsay Mendez, her performance as Rose in Dogfight was probably the single most impressively emotional portrayal I've ever seen.
Agree 100%. Her performance of Pretty Funny is devastating and makes me cry every time
Loved her in Merrily, and loved her in Carousel - this woman is amazing!
I'm so glad she's getting recognigtion and attention! So deserved!
I wish she had two segments. She's adorable
You can totally tell she's in theater; she is as smooth as butter on camera in front of an audience

It’s Tony Award press. This happens every year.
