- There's an intro song and then the audio is pretty quiet, feel free to throw on your own music :)
Monday, January 15th was a cool, crisp -20 degrees at Big White, with no wind whatsoever. Alex and J-rod took to the boomer groomers to get some zoomers and we weren't disappointed! I think we hit 90km/h 5 times today, which is pretty ridiculous. The Insta360 X3 cleanly captured every shot - it's impossible to miss a shot with it - and this was what we ended up with, footage-wise. I completed my Avalanche Safety Training certification this weekend, expect some splitboarding content ASAP :)
If you make it this far in the description, let me know your thoughts on audio! Keep it quiet? Play my instrumental beats on repeat? Play copyright-free YT music? Thanks a bunch, love you all.
Beats over wind noise for sure - especially when zooming like that! It's always worth the extra effort to time a jump with beat drop, too. I spend a lot of time up there so it's cool to see you shred it!
great video - were coming out mid feb - also have a insta 360 x3 and I've noticed already the sound is dreadful.
Post more glades goodness pls
I also have an X3 but my footage looks nowhere near as good as this. How do you do it? When I export, max res is 1080/30fps. I guess you're not using 360 mode?
When you go to your export function the default mode is 1080p, but you can choose the custom settings option to export it to 4k. I also use the Insta360 Studio app for desktop on my PC for most of the clips rather than using my phone; it's not supposed to make a difference but I feel like the bit rate comes out better that way.
@@freshturns_snowboarding And you're using 360 mode and reframing later? Because the camera is not supposed to be capable of doing that... Max resolution in 360 mode is 4K. But once you reframe and export, 1080p is the max... What mode were you recording in? Are you upsampling somehow?
out fer a rip
