I really enjoyed watching your video on tractor pulls. It was nice to see you get out of your comfort zone and look at other high horsepower sports. A video I think would be amazing would be the Bonneville salt flats. It might make for a long video but very interesting which I know first hand is amazing!
appx. 300-500 lbs in the trunk is what it takes to do that in a NewEdge that's set-up for shit surfaces, he was telling the truth that they ran the car as it was from the streets the night before, 💪 Bull shitting about everything else though🤣
@@the_hobby_cavethcracing444that hurt my heart thinking of 300-500 then again 😂 I’m probably not far from it after my last refresh. My SN95 I moved fuel cell back to truck burn down to truck and have 120lbs hanging rear fat as I could get it. I’m trying to walk to line of getting off the line but going straight to the sky. The fun life of swapping setups on a car that was dialed in 🤦🏻♂️
❤❤❤Wow the guy who won small tyre ,,that Vager sweet ,,man his wife friggin so happy for em ,,steak dinner i reckon for the whole family when they get Home !! well done and great win to that Gentleman !!! great racing !
Glad it turned out to be a great event. From the beginning I was thinking.. "my street car could go rounds in that crap". Once the sun went down they got really fast.
I sure wish I could say the same for some of these drivers. I recently lost my beautiful ls swapped s10 due to the negligence of a 22 year old female driver. I would have much rather wrapped it up on my own on a track instead of driving it to work from a lunch break on a Friday. Insert a sad face here.
The ford courier/chevrolet LUV were definitely small truck competitors in the 70s and early 80s. My family in kentucky definitely had both and argued which was best. There was no true winner in that argument because they were both perfect for the times yet anybody of age then didnt believe that was so. It took an 18-24 year old male to pick his small ford vs chev back then and both camps drove the freaking wheels off of them back then. Thats why there are so few left now. Another similar example of that is the following...in 1979 i had a relative turned 16 and her daddy, a close relative of mine, bought her a 1980 celica. Toyota with a 5 speed manual and a 6 cyl. It was that ugly bamboo beige/yellow. He took delivery and gave her the keys on her birthday. She already had her license. Once she got those keys, that celica never got a rest from that moment on. In exactly 12 months she and others put 110,000 miles on that celica. By the way, im not a toyota guy by any means, but this was the fastback/hatchback style Celica. They rode that car down every dirt road in southeastern kentucky, it seen every single road the coal trucks seen. They piled people inside with the back hatch open and just said "c'mon"...you had about 30 sec to get in whatever way you could or the car was gonna be moving again... In the cars second to third year it had about 210k on it and my dear cuz got a new vehicle by then. Dad kept the celica however and i remember plain as day, i was about 12 and spending time down with family in the mountains in the summer...dad said "im gonna paint that car" and with my help we did an outside scuff, mask, and paint in bright red. That car went to 320k with only an alternator replacement before it got sold around 1984. Thats my only Toyota story. Im still a musclecar man and will forever be. Im 54 and yes i do own a classic musclecar. Ill leave it to your imagination what it is. Thank you for reading my comment!
