Don’t worry about what pins just connect the two red wires, one big one small. Did the trick for me.

Comments are more valuable than the video itself

I put 330i sport seats in my 09 e91, pass side bolster works with out modification, drivers has nothing, no relay clock or pump motor. Swapped switch to pass side and confirmed good.

Get a multimeter, disconnect harness, turn on ignition and check each pin of the connector coming out from the floor. You should see 12v on the pins you need.

Hey man great video ! I just swapped in e90 sport seats into my e46. Passenger side works fine except for the seat belt airbag light.
Driver side has 2 power and 2 grounds connected those up moved seat into position. I went inside to grab a snack came back outside and the driver seat will not move anymore. Before that the seat would not tilt forward. Any ideas ?

So any clearer instructions? The forums do not say to connect pins 7&9 together. Lmfao it says connect 4 to 9, 8 to 13

Hey Cameron, thanks for the video. I'm in this process. What I don't understand is why would you connect pins 7 and 9 together if there is no power coming from the car to neither of these pins? Since the car had no sport seats.
My LCI car had no heated seats and I'm swapping the non-LCI sport seats into them. I don't know which wire I should tap the "steady plus" from with a splice. Am I correct?
    Kind regards

So how did you get bolsters to work if you just spliced both bolster wires together? When initially you had no power for the bolster wires? You need to jump power from Pin 4 or not. Cause that’s what all the forums say

Hi, I have change normal seats without heating, with a sport seats which have lumbar and bolster. Is possible to do the same wiring like you do to connect everything?

Do you know I can add heated seats ? I have sports seats but they are not heated

This is possible. There are universal heating pads available for most seats. They are usually secured with a 10 amp fuse (per seat) the difficult part is disassembling your seat to place it under the upholstery. If never done before it's possible but it takes some patience.

@@user-cf1is6vn7hcan be dangerous doing that with sketchy elements

Can you just upgrade and not worry about adjusting the bolster and lumbar...??

Yeah if you want to be uncomfortable

Bolsters fully open are still fairly tight, and still much better than standard seats. I'd be happy if I had sport seats with unadjustable bolsters. Mine don't have lumbar, and they're plenty comfortable, so I'd imagine you could go without that adjustment too.
That said, getting the wiring sorted isn't very difficult once you wade though all the mixed information.
