I had built one about a decade ago based on a AMD FX system. It was a old brown briefcase, used a PS/2 Dell keyboard, and a Samsung Syncmaster screen in the lid. It did not have a battery, and just used a caseless PSU that was deadly if touched. It shocked me more than once. I had put a hinged, double fan cover over the components and the keyboard clipped into place just by sheer luck of it happening to fit in the case. I still have the case but I had gutted it due to how dangerous the PSU ended up being, even with the cover ontop of it. All in all, this build is far better than mine ever was, even saftey wise despite the home-constructed battery. Great to see people still keeping the Briercase PC idea alive!
Super janky, but super cool. I've considered doing something cool like this again. I did build one in a custom wood case in middle school. I have plenty of old stock I could use and get a Harbor Freight knock off Pelican case.
That was my take away when I first seen it, I would want it closer to see, but worry about it being to close since its a 💣. He should have made more hdmi outputs for extra monitors!

I end up spending a lot of time with friends and I usually end up lugging my whole ATX Full tower build to wherever I'm going and it's getting old lol
yeah i built them like 20 years ago,but as a plug in with no batteries, cause i couldnt afford internet and go to library of coffee shops, and nice its upgradable, Laptops age like death, in 6 months they are dead slow, and all the components start dying..lol.. these can last forever

You complaining about keyboard keeps you far from screen just get a 1 hand mini keyboard set on the side and mouse other side You closer to screen. That's all that PC parts that guy had, but you guys have more pc parts make one with better parts inside.

why nobody asked how the voltage is wired cause its a desktop mobo it has different voltages going in from the "psu" being a 24 volt battery
Voltage is regulated by the HDPlex, it has a buck/boost circuit so it can take 12v-38v roughly and regulate it to the standard 12v, 5v, and 3v? rails
