Charlemagne second only to Bazzet in terms of Servants to look forward to on NA in 2024 for me - 6.5 definitely something of a revitalisation, looking forward to it!

I just started to play in the JP server, as soon as he was released, and got it as my first SSR from the gacha, roughly after 1 day of starting to play (Septem ch. 7, at said moment) I'm still working on forming a team, but I should be able to catch up with my NA account pretty soon 👍
Miss Crane is also a good auxiliary support for him as she gives a 3 turn taunt to her allies which helps proc the Heroic King buff. With that he can dish out some good damage in Challenge Quests.
As someone that own him at 80 (would've been 90 hadn't they make the Mats amount needed ridiculous), he's really good if you want a Farming Saber with some CQs capabilities. His only competition is Saber Okitan and while she does win in refund and Buff Removal, Okitan's damage is capped the way it is while Charlie can increase his Damage overtime. Especially for CQ, that and having 2 Arts counts as a bonus for being workable with Castoria, just as long as the S1 didn't get mistimed
Chibitan vs. Charlie pretty much comes down to who you prefer more as a character. I don't think it's worth getting that hung up over who is better because it is going to come down to situation. Chibitan is a better general looper due to better damage against most targets, but both receive plenty of refund and have the same battery. For CQs, Charlie will be better more often, but also Chibitan's defense buff removal on NP is one of the best skills you can have on an NP in the entire game. So at the end of the day I think anyone trying to make a big deal about who is better is a little too obsessed with playing meta rather than just having fun with the game. Not to mention if you're just trying to play "meta," Caren is better than both of them so you're just rolling her anyway.
@@ShiraFuyu2022 No. You can use a Skadi + Castoria combination or Skadi + Waver for that, although there's really no reason people shouldn't be giving mana loading to Skadi.
He doesn't even need 2 skadi to farm well. 12 hit quick aoe np is pretty bonkers and his skills are good. Only reason you should skip him is if you have muramasa or okitan raised (Hell I have an np2 grailed muramasa and I still rolled for charlie)
The moment he was announced, I am skipping all the banners just for this man cause I loved playing Fate: Exella Link. I really enjoyed him then so I know I will be happy using him in FGO
It's weird that Joyeuse is a Quick NP when pretty much all the other magic sword NPs (Excalibur, Clarent, Gram, Balmung, the Sword of Mars, Durendal, etc.) are all Buster.

Charlie is worth the roll because Kriem is his banner. If you get a couple of Charlie copies while trying to get NP5 Kriem (with split rate up), it's fine.

@@kitasean they're going to establish male Ritsuka as a type of saberface template, can Abe no Seimei be a Ritsuka face too or a Shirou face? Whenever Nasu decides to add him to the roster of servants. It's funny. Seimei does more to help Chaldea in the Kyoto Losbelt, than Merlin ever did in the whole Goetia arc. And Seimei wasn't even physically there or using whatever trick merlin was using

2022 wasn’t that hype for me till Charlemagne came out. He’s my current most wanted servant for 2022. Second is Bazett.
Bazett is a must servant to have for clearing horsemen class mobs.

The thing I like about Charlamange is his hit count which is 12, while the next highest AOE hit count that can loop is Cas Gil with 10
