It is such a pleasure listening to you. Your thoughts..... your words.... the wisdom behind. And of course the load of inspiration and ideas we find in your videos. Thank you!!
Dont sweat it, just go with the flow, the flow of the paint!! Have fun with paint!! Happy painting!! I'm like you TOA- Teacher of AWESOMENESS, I need colors, not happy with just black, gold and white. The final piece is awsome!!!
Wow Tammy that's an arctic scene with an ice flow into the beautiful deep blue Arctic waters. The ice is floating but some is under the water, really cool.
This looks like a waterfall pour vs. a traveling ring pour. The cup travels instead of the paint. I LOVED the black white & gold-it was soooo 3D! End result was pretty too.
After watching hours and hours of videos, my daughter and I did our first pour on 12-19-20!!! I have struggled with the consistency issue and have used exact measurements with a scale every time, I've had some decent results but struggle still with consistency. I was getting frustrated and ready to take a break/quit...BUT after listening to what you said, I have new hope and am putting the scale aside. I'll be starting anew this weekend. THANK YOU!!!
I'm so tired if saying the same thing to you beautiful artists...but you are just an amazing teacher...others are really good but you my dear, kick it out of the park....I have learned so much from you...
Thank you for your detailed descriptions on the consistency of the paints. And reminding us that this is meant to be fun and relaxing. Seeing someone of your talent just wipe away what you're not happy with and try again is helpful to those, like me, who struggle with perfectionism. I love the colors of the final pour!
I actually loved what you got when you wiped the paint and tilted it, just before you painted with the brush. I love the finished product though too!I love the blue and white. I agree with Kanella. It looks like a cyclone. Very pretty! 😍
Pretty cool Tammy I like it before you painted over when it was just the gall black and white I thought that was pretty cool but the turquoise and black with the gray background that really popped awesome keep pouring
Hi, Tammy. I love the colors in your second painting. You’re such a patient, thorough teacher. Thanks for this tutorial and all the work you for the art community. 🎶💞🎶
Brilliant advice. I don't worry about measurements any more I just make sure the consistency is the same for all my colours depending on what pour I am doing.
Thank you for the advice and words of wisdom - definitely applicable to living a healthy and balanced life as well as pouring. Fantastic painting too. Love the contrast between the white, gray and aqua flash.❤️❤️❤️
Bahaha you got that right. One of these days I'm going to go outside and just throw paint at a large canvas while screaming take that ! Lol I bet you will feel really good after that. Hey I've been watching you and you are doing some AMAZING blooms. Keep up the great work! ❤
Thank you!! I'm not a math person and was stressing out! The feel of it, the look and man oh man the little card to see similar consistencies is a brain saver. I'm still not good, but hopefully getting better! You're wonderfully patient and kind👑 to share your experiences. My gratitude is boundless.😊🥰
Thanks Tammy for the great tips and hints. I’m sure I stress more about the consistency than any other thing. What you suggest makes perfect sense! Thanks again for your info, and of course I loved the second colour palette. ❤️🎨🤩
I always learn so much in your videos. Thanks for clarifying that measurements don't matter, and what additives such as floetrol are really for and aren't needed provided you use the higher end paints. Thanks so much for another great video!! ✌❤🇨🇦
You are the first fluid painting artist that told us once you get the hang of the consistency you’re looking for measurements are not that important. thank you because I was worrying😛I’ve never done acrylic painting yet but I was so worried about the measurements thank you thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you Tammy for another very informative video. The measurements have been driving me crazy because as you said each artist has his/her own recipe. Learning to mix based on so many different artist recipes has been challenging for me. I like your method of learning to maintain same consistency for all paints being used. Thank you again.
Another good lesson...about consistency...but maybe more importantly about not sweating and relax in the joy of moving colors. As Gail Burstyn says..."Let's keep playing with pigments and making beautiful things." (Quote is at least close.😂 ) Some of the coolest pieces happen by accident.
like all your videos this again was very helpful; I always learn from you and have now decided to cancel some of the automatically incoming videos and concentrate more on the ones, where I really listen, make notes if needed and LEARN. Do you have a video for me to learn the layering? Opaque, transparent etc. in which order and why? I tried blooms all day today, think i had the right pigments, colours, did loads of running samples, they ran all equally, that does help.....but nothing stuck for long, meaning cells and lacing disappeared after a while. Then I remembered the layering which I totally forgot.... I ‘d appreciate your help and advice, best wishes Tammy
Tammy, I was under the impression that you cannot use pouring medium of any kind with Prizm Pour paints. I will attest to the results because I used Floetrol for a flip cup using the Chrysocolla and there isn't even a hint of sparkle. Now, the painting came out very pretty and I have yet to finish the surface and I HOPE that I get that beautiful sparkle out of that color but my hope is not high. So please let me know if you got your sparkle out of that Golden Honey! I do love how you teach. I'll have to tell you that I went ahead and took the Shellee Art class and wish I had simply sent you the money because the only thing I learned was why you cannot use a high gloss paint for your base coat. You taught me everything I needed to know and then I've learned a little from The Painted Dreamer. She uses the Behr untinted base 8300 series high gloss with Josonja and/or Polycrylic and the intensity of the pigments are markedly brighter. She also uses the Glidden as well and with the Behr as well depending on what effect she wants but she did an experiment showing a comparison and wow, what a difference. You are an amazing teacher and though I have donated, you will get another when I can recoup some with my $$$. Love ya!
Hi was curious where I can find the video you spoke of with measurements of different paints. I love your videos and how you explain everything. I have not poured even one yet, trying to make sure I have everything I need, and have a basic knowledge of pouring 😄
That looked pretty cool!! Tammy, I'm no good when cooking directions tell me to make my whipping cream do that or my candy makings do this!! I mess them up every time!! 😉😂🤣😂🤣
THANK YOU I wasn't having fun. I fell all my HARD WORK is not content are all good I need to get feal. Like baking THANK YOU for making sane again happy happy
Loved watching this video today, I've been watching many of your videos and other artists too , thank you and them for being so cool and showing us newbies the way forward 😃 but I'm so disheartened because where I'm located, I cannot get any type of floetrol, UK, USA , Australia, doesn't matter , they don't even have their own version here on This island 😳 & is difficult to get it delivered from abroad. Is there any other ingredient I can use?! I want beautiful lacing, and cells too 🤩 😍
Thank you very much Tammy for this video, i loved the gold, black and white! But the last one is also pretty. But i have a question; i thought that the Prizm Pour cant be mix with a PM or Floetrol? It has an down effect on the sparkling...??
Yup, I’m still struggling with consistency but I think this put it into perspective for me..... Sooooo, it’s back to the drawing board for me! I’m determined, at this point, to get it right! I’m committed and not ready to throw in the towel just yet! I’ve got too much at steak to just give up! But I’ll be honest with you, I’ve come real close more than once!! Here goes! Wish me luck please! 😂
Do you know what video of yours explains how to use the prism pour paints? I did not know you can/should add floetril and water too them 🤦🏻♀️. Thanks 😊
For Dutch Pours you need your paints REALLY thin so the blow dryer or air gun can easily move the paint. Some artists just use paint and water with no floetrol or pouring medium. However floetrol will give you more cells...my preference.
I've been pouring for over a year now and I never measure anything anymore, I can tell by sight and feel. I've found that different brands and colours are going to be thicker or thinner and you have to adjust for that.
@@tammyandersonart I just go for it, I don't get worried or afraid. I used to really get anxious, worried about too much, then I just told myself, just pour it and give yourself a chance, if you don't like it, redo it.
Every video I’ve watched that Prism Pour paint is used says only water should be used to mix with this paint, including the owner of ColorArte, Leslie Ohnstad. You put Floetrol in yours, May I ask why?
Tammy, I am sure you have a tutorial on how makes balloon smashes and kisses , but I have not found them. I love how they look and have tried them over and over with no success. If you do have a tutorial, would you let me know where it is and how to access it? Thank you so much
Thank you so much. You are a wonderful teacher 👩🏫
It is such a pleasure listening to you. Your thoughts..... your words.... the wisdom behind. And of course the load of inspiration and ideas we find in your videos. Thank you!!
I loved both of them. Your are amazing, you can turn anything into a piece of art.
Dont sweat it, just go with the flow, the flow of the paint!! Have fun with paint!! Happy painting!!
I'm like you TOA- Teacher of AWESOMENESS, I need colors, not happy with just black, gold and white. The final piece is awsome!!!
Thank you, Tammy! You are so loved and appreciated!
Thank you for sharing your talent with me. Pour painting began to be to stressful and I wasn't having as much fun. Love you too 🥰
I like it. I love the blue. My fave blue and I love the composition.
Wow Tammy that's an arctic scene with an ice flow into the beautiful deep blue Arctic waters. The ice is floating but some is under the water, really cool.
Tammy you are awesome 😎 you make it so simple for me.some make it so hard and scientifically. Thank you 🙏
I just love the blue colours you used in this final pour
Imagine that...pearl cells popping up...so cool..it's a lovely painting..I love the colors!!! You explain things so well Tammy..you're a treasure!♥
This looks like a waterfall pour vs. a traveling ring pour. The cup travels instead of the paint. I LOVED the black white & gold-it was soooo 3D! End result was pretty too.
That round is Gorgeous! Great lesson!

Well Done!
very very cool! I love the gray on the sides because I love negative space and it looks amazing with the colors that you used!
Awesome, excellent choice on switching up the colors, stunning
I'm so tired if saying the same thing to you beautiful artists...but you are just an amazing teacher...others are really good but you my dear, kick it out of the park....I have learned so much from you...
I love the blue and white together.
Thanks Tammy for sharing and great tips. The second one is so awesome.
Thank you Tammy for all the instructions you give I'm a new acrylic pour Earth and I love watching your videos because you're so good at explaining

I really liked the final comp. It reminded if ocean crushing against rock...

It turned out amazing great job...
Ty my friend 💓
@@tammyandersonart you're very welcome
Thank you always for all your advice and measurements 🙏
I loved the gold & black, it looked like an elephant. The blue is beautiful too!
Tammy I absolutely love you!!!!! You have taught me sooooo much and have definitely assisted in making me that artist I am today!!!❤️❤️💪🏽
Thanks Tammy... very helpful. Take care.

That was amazing I saw a polar bear 🐻❄️in that painting so cute.
Got to get myself some marbles that looked great fun.

Tammy, Thank you again for sharing your wealth of knowledge. You're awesome. 💙💜
Its superb, as usual with your work!
It looks like the bottom of a waterfall where it meets the pool. Or a glazer meeting the ocean. I love it.
Very interesting. I have to try. Nice result.💙💙💙💙
Brilliant advice. I don't worry about measurements any more I just make sure the consistency is the same for all my colours depending on what pour I am doing.

Wow what a surpise Tammy!!! I love the gray lol and just think that came out of frustration and ended up a masterpiece. ❤

Great video. Please put link for Liquitex exact recipe in the Description so I can try it. I could not find it.

Can you tell us the video numbers for mixing those paints?
I liked it! Then you swirled it all over- kinda cool you wiped it off too. It’s ok.
Was that American or Aussie Floterol?
❤️
🥰
You, my friend, were born to teach. That is all.😘
yeaah me too just add some water if I wanna safe my money ? 😆😆😆
It looks like a liver biopsy.
