The reasons why your mascara looks longer today is because you don't have as much eyeliner on as yesterday :/

Hi Tati! idea for a video: Do a blind test on Drug store vs. high end makeup. see if you can guess if it's high end or drugstore without seeing the packaging or branding. I love that you work with makeup from all price points. thank you!

I don't understand why people are saying you can barely see the makeup. You're not supposed to be able to see bronzer and blush once it's on your face, they're supposed to blend together seamlessly. Bear in mind she's working with bright studio lights which wash everything out and in real life the make up probably looks nice and natural. Not everyone wants their highlight to be visible from space. It seems like youtube and instagram have made people forget that sometimes make up can be natural. My only issue with this palette is that the brown shadow should have been darker so you could have the option of getting more definition. You don't really need a medium brown because you can just use the bronzer. They should offer a service that allows you to choose which shades you want in the palette, then everyone will be happy.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying high-end makeup. There is nothing wrong with loving a brand/brand loyalty. There is nothing wrong with liking something despite its flaws. Can we stop the Tati-bashing for a minute and appreciate her a little? Tati, I love your videos, especially the WTFs because it gives me a little sneak peak of the luxury I can't always afford. Reading the comments on this video is making me sad, not least because I know that Tati will see them and some people are being really cruel. She works so hard at her channel and is constantly putting up videos for us, and then people tear her apart - she'll never be able to please everyone! Constructive criticism that's brought to her attention can be valuable, but this passive aggressive tendency some people have to post comments about Tati, but not TO her (even though it's her video and of course she'll see them) is essentially just bullying, not to mention cowardly. There's someone with real feelings the other side of that camera, and all she's trying to do is create something we'll enjoy. Thank you, Tati - most of us really appreciate it.
some don't realize that they are doing it and others do it because it's safely behind their keyboard. Misery loves company. SO many people lack respect and think their low blows are cute. It's classless and tacky.

Direct your criticism to Tati, don't be like "SHE". It's like they're trying to disassociate themselves from it as much as possible. No. Stand by your words.
I love Tati's make up in the beginning; she looks really youthful and awake without the contour, highlight.. Etc. it's nice to see her with this type of make up.

Honestly I was worried when I picked up this palette to review- it doesn't jump out at you as a 'WOW' palette.
But since owning it for awhile I have been reaching for it everyday-
If you have dry skin you will LOVE the powders because they keep you looking healthy and glowy and don't cling to dry patches.
As far as the mascara goes it is really beautiful and stays put but if you have sensitive eyes this may not be the one for you. Even though my eyes are not super sensitive I do have a little irritation with it.

+Lima McMilled The absolute best dupes on Aliexpress are anything by Kat Von D - The items are literally the same. Also, any Anastasia Beverly Hill products are identical, including the new highlighting palette, the eyebrow pencil and any matte lipsticks. Oh and lastly, on the topic of matt lipsticks, the dupes of Limecrime are on point, I can't even tell the difference other than the fact that Aliexpress isn't as corrupt as Limecrime's company 😂 I've bought way too much as you can tell haha!

I'm so sick of everyone not appreciating what skincare and makeup is about... I, like most people watching makeup review channels like +Tati channel, struggle with acne that never seems to go away, and I look to makeup and skincare as an escape from stress and that sort of thing... you know, the typical sob story of skincare in the 21st century... but what I cannot stand is people bashing +Tati about her damn opinions about makeup of all things. If she likes higher end makeup and is more forgiving about it, then so be it! she spent the money and she's not forcing you at gunpoint to buy it. if you don't like her WTF videos.. then don't watch them, what makeup TH-cam artists like +Tati and +WayneGoss and whoever else do is help people to get an extra opinion on these items, and if you don't like the product; many, many, many makeup stores and drugstores are extremely forgiving on their return policies. As +Tati has explained many times on her channel "makeup is personal" and it is, there are some things mentioned on TH-cam as holy grail that I've purchased and don't like at all and others that I absolutely love. Without +Tati among other TH-camrs I would not be able to perfect my own skills, my mom hardly wears makeup, so I can't look to her for guidance when it comes to these things... it's so petty that we've become offended over something so personal as an opinion to makeup, yous are acting like she killed your puppy when she says her skin reacts better to higher end makeup care and skincare THATS HER SKIN not mine nor yours, everyone is different and if she can afford it, well that's great I'm happy for her! but do not go after someone just because, god forbid, they give their opinion on something that is personal to them... it's like asking a friend if they'd prefer the Anastasia brow Wiz or L'Oreal brow definer well they'd obviously say that they are close but they'd prefer Anastasia for one reason or another, who wouldn't it's probably twice the cost?! My point is, that makeup is an extension of an individual, whatever that extension entails that's personal and makes us all unique, so no one should have the right to get offended on how someone lives their life. so I apologize this rant is littered with grammatical and spelling errors (my Philly accent came out once or twice with the "yous") and I'm thankful to whoever has gotten this far, but to be bitter about someone's views on makeup is being hypocritical when you deem someone as "snobbish"

If anything, she should be HARDER on high-end makeup. A hefty price tag should come with higher standards for quality. However, she seems to adore anything with a designer name on it, and trash anything from the drugstore over the tiniest things (sometimes because of her own poor application skills). She is a snob nowadays, and it really taints the validity of her "opinions" in my mind. I miss it when she was down to earth.
BTW, expensive products are not necessarily better for your skin. I have extremely sensitive skin, and drugstore/mid-range works far better than 99% of "high end" products. The INGREDIENTS matter, not the label or price tag. Do your research.
+Faron Abigail doing my research on products I put on my face is all I do I don't purchase anything with less than a 4/5 in terms of reviews and a look at the skin type of those reviews and the ingredients in the products I use as well and overall takes me about a month of research in terms of something that I'm putting on my skin in terms of skincare and I've learned that I have sensitivities to Benzol Peroxide and Salycilic Acid in certain products that inflames breakouts and causes oil production to go haywire... makeup of course comes at a different level since my skin doesn't largely react to makeup and I get 13+ hours of wear without any changes in my skin... however, that is my PERSONAL REACTION to makeup and skincare... not Tati's, not my best friend's, not yours... I've had tried higher end products versus drugstore, and while I find that drugstore is preforming at a comparable level, I tend to like high end just as well if not better for their longevity and keeping my breakouts under control... and for the products I've tried that I have not loved, I have returned with no problem, just as I'm sure you have... now I don't find anything wrong with Tati's makeup application, in fact, I'm sure she wouldn't be as big on TH-cam as she is if her techniques were that horrible... as I've said before if you even read my comment... "makeup is personal" so if you like drug store products more and you find that they work better, hell, I live at the drugstore and I'm sure some of the Walgreen's cashiers and makeup department sales people know me by name, then that is a PERSONAL OPINION... if anything, AS I'VE MENTIONED IN MY COMMENT BEFORE, people who bash on something so personal as makeup are being hypocritical in who they call "snobbish" because you basically turn your nose up to someone because you don't like how they apply makeup to their face or the items they use or even the sheer name by which they call themselves which by interpretation of your definition by using Tati as an example is "snobbish"

Tati isn't a snob, she always offers alternatives for expensive products, just because she doesn't like a few drugstore products doesn't mean she always talks crap, some of her favorite products are drugstore. As for her tending to be forgiving towards expensive products, it's her money and she can feel however she wants; she did state that she doesn't think its a must have and she said the mascara was clumpy, but that she PERSONALLY didn't mind.

If your looking for a palette with the same concept but has even better quality and variety Tarte's clay palettes are where it's at! The Showstopper is THE best and although it's not the cheapest the price tag is TOTALLY justifiable at 38$ (especially compared to the CT)

Lorac sells similar palettes for approximately $20. Amazon exclusive Lorac cheek and eyeshadow palette and Tati used it/recommended it in her previous videos. The other one is "the getaway eye and cheek palette" at Nordstrom.
No way! Drugstore makeup, IMO, for the most part sucks! Horrible quality and ingredients. I can't stand any of it. I also hate highly priced makeup (like Chanel and Tom Ford) that are way over priced and over perfumed.

Why so salty? I'm being honest. Physicians formula has a good highlighter and L'Oreal has good neutral eye palettes. Elf also has great smudge pots. You just have to know what brands to buy and do your research. There are very few thing I would say are worth your arm.

Lucie Göbbels I do agree that today's mascara is better, but I just mean that it's an unfair comparison. She had so much liner on yesterday that it was difficult to tell how the mascara made her lashes look, where in today's video you can tell it made a huge difference because she skipped the liner. For review purposes, it would have been better if she skipped the liner for both.
A great mascara will make your lashes stand out with the eyeliner too though. With the close ups she showed yesterday and today, you can see the difference regardless of eyeliner.

Very much. I love Tati, but at the beginning you could tell she was trying to justify how plain this palette is whereas if another brand made this palette she would probably rip it apart.
She's definitely biased towards high end brands. But I think it's a natural reaction when you're so used to high end makeup. We have to remember, most beauty gurus are rich as heck and they get used to the super super high end makeup.

If you are coming to the US check out CVS, Walgreen's, rite aid those are all pharmacies and they sell beauty products. Then head over to Target, Ulta and Sephora. I am certain they all sell beauty brands that you cannot buy in the EU. But I think in terms of brands it would be hard to outline bc there are to many!!!! Good luck. Enjoy your trip. I've been reading the comments and my god, the criticism for this video is outstanding. So much complaining! First of: there are people who like the WTF videos (including me), maybe the mascara was 32$ because she just couldn't find anything more expensive. Second of all: she can do her base makeup just as she likes it. She might read the comments and show a comparison of the mascara from today and the mascara from yesterday to show there are differences in her lashes. Also, she's human, she will be biased. What makes you a snob is buying something very expensive and then throwing it away because it's nit the best. Of course she's gonna love high end products - they usually are better than drugstore stuff. She raves about both.
Just calm down with everything. She's great at what she does, the only one here that does it properly. Keep the WTF videos, I'll never have the money for the products but I love watching them. Thanks Tati.

I bought this palette for travel this summer and because I thought it was a reasonably priced way to try some CT products. It's the perfect palette pre- coffee when you are not awake enough to make decisions between your products. I can't stop reaching for it because it's so easy.

I was hoping this review wouldn't be biased because I knew going in how much you love Charlotte Tilbury, but it kind of was. You had a lot of issues with the mascara: smudging, transferring, clumpiness, etc. A drug store mascara with those same issues would be in the 'bad bin' by now for a later video on products you regret purchasing. I'm in no way saying the drug store mascara you reviewed yesterday was good either but this one should have been right there with it. Especially for $32. But none the less, I love your videos & value your opinion.

+Faron Abigail I think she was trying not to be overtly negative about it since yesterday's video people were saying she was to negative about the mascara...same thing happened when she did the peel off makeup the first time . People got upset with her reaction so when she tried it again she was a lot nicer about even though you could tell she didn't like it... I can't say she's being bias 100% but damn I would be if I could afford mostly luxury makeup about. I treasure all my high-end makeup which surpass quality of all my drug store products. Charlotte tilbury's products are mixed with skincare and top of the line ingredients. It matters what you put on your face. Maybe if you're 18 with amazing elasticity in your skin, then fine, wear glittery nail polish as foundation and cocaine as setting powder. Most people are going to favour high end because of the ingredients.

Some people are saying this palette is boring but I think for someone who is on the go a lot, works a lot or a busy mom, this is perfect. It would make you feel nice and put together and it's super fast, plus you don't need many products to achieve a beautiful look. I do agree though, if you're a makeup hoarder, it's probably not something you would need lol. But that mascara is a must have 😱

On yesterday`s video the mascara did transfer to your lid and you said "Omg I hate it when i get mascara all over my lid, bla bla" and today you were like "Oh, it got on the lid but it's my fault, nothing to do with the mascara"

Well either way she's honest and says it. I doubt she consciously does it, but what matters is she mentions it and shows us the real deal. Plus, it's hard not to say that mascara from yesterday sucked and when there's a huge list of cons it's a lot easier to make a bigger deal out of something than if there's a ton of pros and a con. Hello tati, I started following you about a week or 2 ago and let me tell you you have quickly become my favorite TH-cam channels to watch!!! I have gone through a very rough few month with a injury, spent a month in the hospital and have had 9 surgeries. Make up has truely been one of the things that has gotten me through the hard times!

Doesn't seem like it since she clearly said it was her fault the mascara smudged (shaky hands) and concluded with saying the eye shadows are "wuah wuah" (not that awesome) and that the palette is not a must have. The products in there clearly weren't bad products whatsoever so why should she say so. Oh and to the powder - she complained about it (No, I don't like that - that's actually a decent amount of fallout.. but it is brushing away nicely). That's not biased to me.
This mascara is actually horrible, sadly. I purchased on the launch date and was so excited for it. I was out the whole day and within the first hour I noticed it smudging ( two coats ) it's good at separating the lashes but really isn't worth the money. Would love to start my own channel ✌️

+Fanny Feng And Charlotte TIlbury mascaras last for a long time! I had my full fat lashes for about 5 months and the formula hasn't dried out (just a little) but it still applies just like new!
***** The wand brush is pretty superior. If I don't rebuy it, I'll definitely save the wand and reuse the brush in other mascaras. If you don't already use a growth serum, then it's worth it. I use Latisse so don't really need the growth serum in it.

Honestly, I'm just not down to spend money on make-up that you can't bloody see. I mean, I barely saw anything on your face so I'm definitely not going to be able to see anything at all on mine. The eyeshadow is barely detectable and the highlight I just ... I don't see anything at all . These kinds of paletts feel like such a rip-off because there's just nothing there - no normal person would look at you and be like "oh, your makeup is so galant and "champagne" today". In reality, it looks like you aren't wearing anything except foundation and I'm just going to spend any money on stuff like that anymore. (Yes, I'm pissed. Makeup like this is so excruciatingly expensive and they basically sell you an illusion).

I was definitely iffy about this palette before reviewing it myself, especially for someone who wears smokey eyes makeup almost everyday! But I found a way to do a smokey eye in my review, and the whole palette really is very handy for frequent travellers :) Need to try the mascara next to see whether it's worth the hype 😊
I don't understand why people feel so strongly about drugstore vs high end makeup. Like why do people feel the need to defend cheaper products?Sometimes high end makeup will perform better than drugstore and vise versa. Why is it a competition?

I have tried both mascaras, the Chantecaille one based on Tati´s review and it didn´t do nothing for me at all. The Legendary lashes mascara from Charlotte Tilbury was the best mascara I have ever used until it started smudging and then it quickly became the worst one I have ever used. Unfortunately it smudged so bad, I couldn´t bear it even it made my lashes huge. I had a travel deluxe size and I ended up throwing it after I used it several times with different eye creams, under eye concealers, powders...nothing helped.
Thank you for not wearing eye liner it was much easier to see what it looked like

If you will lightly tap the handle end of your makeup brush on your counter after you sweep your brush on whatever powder makeup you are using, you will "load" the brush and have a LOT less fall out and will also be able to use less makeup because there is more IN your brush as opposed to the the waste of it falling out of your brush. I used to do makeup for Glamour Shots back in the 80's. I know. I know. But we had to do full glamour makeup on perfect strangers in under a half hour plus that awesome 80's hairstyle Glamour Shots was known for ("The bigger the hair - the closer to God"). We shared lots of tips to shorten application time and also get some great, quick glam looks. :)
And this tip works for ALL powder makeup like blush, setting powder, highlighter, etc. It saved me big time when Bare Minerals first came out and everything they had was loose!
By the way, I love your personality and this palette is gorgeous. We are going on a cruise and I am going to look for this at Sephora the next time I go.

+jackie ortega I have a travel version of it but haven't tried it. Yesterday while writing this comment the cleansing mud mask was on my face (have a travel size too). It is crazy expensive, however, I think it is the most delicate but working mud mask ever. I even felt different (and special) because of luxury texture and smells. But the 15ml jar would probably last me 5-7 application and it is super pricey(((

why is everyone so rude? mascara transfer is almost always due to application and even professional makeup artists just swatch it away. she didn't apply the mascara to CT suggestions for the formula of the mascara and the clumpiness was due to her application, the only issue would be the smudging!

Though I don't personally believe Tati is biased towards higher end products its easy to see where people may get that from. Because of the price points she goes into reviewing higher end products with higher expectations while the lower end products she goes in with more lowered expectations. I know it can be frustraiting when it seems like she "bashes/ looks down on" lower end products when its all we can afford but then goes and praises things that we could never buy; but in the end makeup is subjective. Maybe she just enjoys the idea of pampering herself, as many do, and has the means to do so and so she just happens to prefer things with higher price points and a bit of prestige attached to the name whereas we enjoy our lower end products and are often protective of them because thats what we mostly use. In the end, as Tati says, if things don't work out for her but work out for you that's okay! Makeup is simply a form of expression and is different for everyone.

Everyone is complaining that she gave a biased review, BUT at the end of the video she CLEARLY stated she didn't like that palette and she loved the mascara.
Don't really see anything new or unique about this product. Also, not a fan of multipurpose palettes as inevitably, everything ends up migrating into each other. Lastly, HATE eyeshadow fallout....that just ups the spillage into everything else. The mascara looks like a win though. Thank you Tati

I didn't like this palette, plain Jane and it's not for everyone. You have to be almost fare skin to use it... :-\

Please do a video with the best makeup and palettes for darker skin! I love all your videos, but most things you review are limited to fair, light, and only sometimes medium skin tones. I myself am very fair skinned, but there is probably half a world out there that I'm sure would be watching your videos if the makeup was more inclusive!

Thanks to you I have a few ABH products, some wetnwild products, all kids of stuff you have recommended, what I am getting at is: this is your job, you test products in this series that are normally priced very high. That palette and mascara are expensive and totally deserve a spot in your WTF series, that mascara made your lashes look wonderful compared to yesterdays video!
