He's already rich from video game streaming and NIL money, plus the money he's gonna make from this father/son documentary. The problem with wasting a 55th pick isn’t so much that the Lakers would have drafted a awesome player had they used that pick on somebody other than Bronny…but just don’t know. The Lakers with some of the constraints they have can’t waste a pick…if this were Shaq-Kobe championship level Lakers or any team that is built for championships, like the Celtics right now, you can blow a pick on somebody’s son who really isn’t an NBA player. Yes, 55th probably won’t move the needle…but sometimes you get a surprise if you at least pick somebody ready to hold their own in the league. Honestly, Bronny should probably still be in college getting solid minutes and working on his game…hopefully make March Madness and go from there.

His nephew being on a single episode of his show isn't the same as Lebron making the Lakers sign his son to a 4 year contract

His Nephew leans into the joke though. He's actually called himself the Bronny James of Sports media, lol. No one is pretending he's something he's not.

@ sound like an excuse. He still doing a job he not qualified for and wouldn’t have if SAS wasn’t his uncle. Plus he just wrong. Obviously Bronny got picked by the Lakers because of Bron but he playing as well or better than any other low draft pick this year. It’s a 12th main spot that wouldn’t play. And people also forget this is entertainment people want to see Bronny and he selling More Merch than any other rookie. So he more valuable than anyone else they could have gotten with that 55th pick 🤷‍♂️

SAS is a clown.. he is part of the problem where he needles ppl and makes outrageous statements that have nothing to do with the game in order to get clickable ratings.. It is not his role as a media man to give fatherly advice to a man he constantly belittles.. so many things going on in sports and ya'll choose a late draft pick playing badly over any other superstars performances or any top draft picks and what they are doing.. so miss me with this faux concern b/c I can;t recall any moment where they talk about the top 5 picks

Not a role player as of yet. Mr. irrelevant fits our stereotype of good player-good team. But no, there are no bright spot for Bron say it he's LaBron's son. Made from Bron's loins!
