The fact that it's an undead mirrormatch is what really sells the idea of a billionaire trying to steal another's assets

Hi Grubby. Human & Orc units heal 0.25 hp/sec. Undead heals 2hp/sec on blight. Which means Blight grants x8 heal regen, not x4
This would be a cool strat to see again if you can get the haunted gold mine to complete in your opponent's base and you start mining it
Very interesting game, actually. Not having towers and not blocking entrances was so crucial, he could have stopped almost 50% of the push power, if not more, if he had better prep and map visibility. If i was the other UD, i would have had a lot worse micro, but at least it feels like i know how to counter it, not that I can pull it off :D Grubby's awesome!
Grubs the type of guy to do those "abusing AI shenanigans" but in actual people.
Just as most military strategies can be trivialized by having a larger army than the opponent, so too can most defensive business maneuvers be broken by brute forcing it with costly offensive measures that only an extremely wealthy competitor can afford. a common example is the implementation of _just-on-time_ manufacturing; an untested idea at the time that has now become industry standard.

You can see corpate takeovers happend if it is a public company. Sometimes it is even discussed in corprate magazines months before it actually happens.

there is normally buyback or buyouts for major shareholders whenever the company is looking to buy stocks in itself. it inflates the value of the stock, as there is less trade volume, so its a type of insider trading to buy a shitload of it before hand, if you knew. but impossible to arrest and prove

Strat proposal: ASAP 100 pop and then win ASAP. Also you are only allowed to win with 100 pop.
I donno about the blight thing.
I mean yes u cant hide expos very well as undead BUT u can just build a goldmine.
No other race can do that, u always need a Tree of Life or something first and than start mining.
Therefore its kinda fair u can see it so easily, I think.
building hall is basically building goldmine tho.. it's just tree that's weird, but NE and UD both have to build a building where HU and Orc can just long distance it if they have to
I was about to say that too : with other races, you need to build a main at a certain distance that can reveal your expo. Not sure if the blight extends as far as the last pixel of the main building that is mandatory for mining. This new patched surface seems kinda small.

now i want to see you expo every gold mine (not mine from, that'd probably be too much food, but have a hall or mine ready) on a 4p map. 8 expo heres...that'd be a takeover
Maybe mine with 1 or 2 workers from each one so that if it goes down, you didn't lose much mining. Also once you get enough expansions, purposely go down to just 1 or 2 workers in your main Gold mine to string it out.
@@Lucius_Chiaraviglio Yeah, that'd be only 8-16 ish pop which is only like 3 'expos'. When playing greedily, you can take like 3 or 4 full mines while no upkeep before pushing to 100. That'd be good too.

Challenge idea: Use hero and non-hero units to take as many items as possible, from creeps and shops, denying them from your opponent.
Edit: Also kill opponent's shops while you're at it.

why do you never save skelletons while creeping. I understad they die anyway but wouldnt you deal more damage and creep faster with more units alive?
If I remember correctly it has to do with mana efficiency. The mana is better spent on something else, creeps or ghouls
@@Boxfortress but he can just pull the low hp skelli back and let the creeps attack the full hp skelli like he does with ghouls.

Man everytime I watch you play I wish i could play warcraft at this level. It's really skillfull and this is coming from a nike national athlete. That's not me bragging it's just athletes typically diminish gamers skills and I want to say for me that's not the case. I could run circles around grubby in athletics but he would run circles around Me in gaming.
I realize this each time I try to copy his cheesy strats against Insane level CPU opponents and a million little things go wrong, most of them pertaining to my hero control.

the game could be more fun to watch if he could do these challenges in a say,, 'better' way instead of just simply spamming and doing things without putting much thought to it, for example he could've destroyed the necropolis at 15:51 instead he suddenly gave up and move the ghouls away which ended up done nothing much, he had ghouls attacking acolytes and the gold mine at that moment. Not to mention the keep on unsummoning and then resummoning the buildings again, it's just so painful to watch
this is almost as annoying as grandmaster tinker players :D
