If the murder thing is real and he lost his wife and rage so hard to commit a brutal act like that, he’s certainly found a way to live in a positive manner that suits him. I’d imagine there would be alot of anger and sadness you could spiral into which could ruin your life even after doing your time.
I mean, if somebody ended the life of which I loved, I think rage would take me over too, no way ima just sit there and think of “all the good things that can come of this.”

It's practically impossible to "chop" a human head off even with a Ka-Bar or machete, let alone a "steak knife" .. typically takes a lot of hacking and sawing back & forth with strong pressure for awhile. Any experienced homicide detective or combat veteran would concur....it's not an instant chop or slice, like in movies.

our family has a house pigeon as well. his name is horus. & we refer to him as a housefalcon. 😹 he's smart, cuddly, sweet, & very loving -- loves being part of our flock.

I actually respect this guy, he's not hurting anyone. He's caring for pigeons. From a Islamic perspective, pigeons are very esteemed among the bird family. The thing is you have serial killers, and one of their markers in their early years, is cruelty to animals etc. This guy actually respects and cares for animals. So in my book, this could be his ticket to paradise. There is a religious saying where the Prophet peace upon him said, a prostitute was forgiven for giving a thirsty dog water from a well, using her shoe. And a devout woman was forsaken to hell for being unkind to cat.
Remember: Pigeons are FERAL, not wild. They're one of the oldest domesticated animals on this planet and feeding them proper food (seed, not bread) is no different than feeding stray cats or dogs.
Feed strays, only if you will commit to getting them spayed/neutered. That’s the only way to truly help them. Rerelease. Or accept them as your own. I accepted the ones that forced me to. No regrets. They taught me a lot lol

This is awesome! There’s a lady out of Snohomish Washington my hometown, who feeds the pigeons every single day! She has all sorts of birds try to come eat at her doorstep but it’s always a flock of pigeons!

Pigeons are fascinating animals. Just look at the role homing pigeons played in wars and battles throughout history. To racing pigeons being kept in every class of society from the royal pigeon loft all the way to a welsh coal miners back garden.
I started feeding the doves in my back yard and have become a big fan of them. They've gotten to a point now where they aren't even afraid of me and will be sitting there in the morning waiting for me to toss out some seeds for them and will walk up pretty close to me
If we all lived like that how would the world function? Because we dont need hospitals, scientist finding cures for illnesses, court systems, police, markets where we buy food, farmere etc. etc. etc. No lets all just play with pigeons!

There's a man by city hall nyc that feeds the squirrels. I'm glad he finds solace in the pigeons. I'm sorry his family was murdered. We found a hurt homing pigeon as a kid. My dad nursed lucky back to health and we begged to keep lucky. He bonded with our kitten muffin.
I've always loved pigeons since I was a little kid. My mother would sometimes find either baby pigeons or wounded pigeons around the area and bring them home for a few weeks. We'd take care of them, they'd get better, and then we'd set them free. Some didn't make it and we'd bury them. Honestly, pigeons are probably my favorite bird. They are gentle and loving, and of all the birds they are among the few that I feel can develop a strong bond with a person. The only thing that I'd be concerned about is eating or touching my face without first having washed my hands after contact with them, but aside from that, I love what this guy is doing and hope that there are many more like him. And I can't stand people who hate pigeons. I think how a person feels about pigeons and especially how they behave towards pigeons says a lot about their character, for better or for worse.

Reminded me of a guy we used to call "Squirrel Man". He'd be in Union Square Park and would feed the squirrels and let them climb up on him, take peanuts he was holding in his teeth, etc, etc. One day a friend and I were sitting in the park watching his escapades and he suddenly grabbed a squirrel (which was not happy about it) and wrapped the squirrel in the bottom of the t-shirt he was wearing and ran from the park. We were dumbfounded. At first we thought he might take it home to kill it but he was wearing a "Vegan's Do it Better" t-shirt so we think maybe he thought the squirrel needed some TLC..
A little bit of bread isn't too bad as a treat but it shouldn't be a lot. It's not exactly bad for them it just doesn't give them any nutrition so it has to be small amounts in addition to real food.
I think biggest ability we humans have is the ability to help and take care of species other than us. What's the point of life if you won't help weaker beings. Every time you help out animal, god gives you one point.
