    I like the way you painted the wainscoting and trim all the same color as the walls. It's easy on the eye and gives the room a more cohesive appearance.

    I think that area is the perfect spot for a dining room..
    Really beautiful chairs! You couldn’t buy anything new like that today.

    Great color. I agree with the fireplace being too white and painting the window. Looking forward to future projects. Beautiful cane chairs too!

    I love the paint color. It's the one I picked when they were all up. Great job.

      Thank you! You knew the right color before I even realized it 😆 It definitely makes the space feel so much cozier. 🥰

    You could add some kind of antiqing glaze on the fireplace bricks. That might darken it enough to blend into the room. Just a possibility!

    This is gorgeous! Does anyone know where the two rugs are from? I've been looking for something similar with no luck.
    Thanks, have a lovely day!

      Thank you! ❤️ Your comment made me realize I forgot to link the rugs 🙈 The one I chose (Magnolia Sinclair) is actually on sale right now! I've linked them both in my Amazon Storefront: amzn.to/4hu0utt

    I have Illusive green in 2 different rooms and the color changes depending on the natural light. In my kitchen where it has a lot of natural light it looks more gray. In my laundry room it looks dark green/gray because it's darker in there. I hope this helps!!

      Thank you so much for this insight! I really love the color and it seems like every picture I see of it in someone’s house looks different. Then in my house it looked dark grey. I still love the color and will try it out in a different space where the lighting is more in my favor :)

    I love the color you ended up chose!!! It might be controversial but seeing the room in the video I thought that it would look great, to paint the ceiling too. If you end up to do that, then keep the windows white. Just a friendly suggestion! ☺️☺️

    • @AnastasiaDesigns
      @AnastasiaDesigns  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you for saying this! I’ve been debating on painting the ceiling but hadn’t settled on it for sure. I only have 8 foot ceilings so a part of me worries it would feel too cave-like with the color being moody 🙈 thank you for watching 💕

    I would paint out the fireplace your wall color, it will look bigger. I’d also get rid of all those coat hooks. Can you put in a small wardrobe or armoire some where instead for shoes and coats?

    • @AnastasiaDesigns

      Thank you for the idea! I definitely got rid of those coat hooks and I got a gorgeous hook system for a different spot in the room. I’ll share it in part two 💕

    Why don't you go with the wall color that enhances the wood in your furniture?

    • @AnastasiaDesigns
      @AnastasiaDesigns  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I definitely kept my table and chairs in mind when selecting paint. I think both colors would have looked good but the Ethereal Mood looks fantastic with the wood. Can’t wait to show it in part 2!😍

    It seems the current trend is to saturate a the walls and trim with one color but to me why have the beautiful trim and chair rails only to have them blend into obscurity? People pay a ton of money to add details in a room for a more upscale look. Moody and color saturation becomes stunning when the trim is the same color as the wall only a couple of shades darker or lighter. I agree, the fireplace needs a more creamy shade but make sure to stay away from a yellow tone.

    • @AnastasiaDesigns
      @AnastasiaDesigns  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      To me, I love the look the color drench and I enjoy the molding even more when it’s the same color. I like the idea of going a few shades different on the trim. It’s just personal preference and looks nice either way☺️

      At our home, we painted our crown and baseboard in the same color as the walls but in one step more shiny so they would be more visible. Our walls and picture frame molding are all Im BM flat. Did you know that BM flat is washable?

      I also have hesitancy with the color washing trend. After spending a lot of money and time updating our old honey oak trim to white, painting over it just feels like a headache I’d have to fix when the trend passes in a year or two. Looks pretty though:)

    The only people who want to sit on dining benches are little kids. They are so awkward. The person in the middle is stuck and not having a back and no arms on seating is terrible. But with that being said they ARE adorable and cute. But not functional.

    That fireplace is too big for the room. If it were my house I would remove all the bricks and install a fireplace surround mantel. I would put picture frame molding over the mantel and in the rest of room.

    • @AnastasiaDesigns
      @AnastasiaDesigns  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It definitely feels too boxy to me, and it’s a bit too much brick for my taste. I’m brainstorming ways to redo it in a future project. I think my favorite option so far is to build around it with wood/sheetrock and only leave a little exposed brick around the firebox. Then put picture frame molding and paint to match the walls. Sounds like we’re pretty much on the same page ☺️

    Great space. The color looks good. Can't wait to see what else you do. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as your Saviour , please call on him now. Ask him to show you who he is. Ask him to forgive your sins and save you. Jesus loves you. He wants you to be a part of God's family. Jesus said " I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by me. John 14:6. Love from a sister in Christ.
