I am brand new to the Chronicles of Darkness scene, only recently having bought the core rulebook for mortals, and stumbled upon this song by complete chance. It has now been on repeat for the past two days and I have listened to it likely 30 times now. It really deserves more notice. I know very little about the God Machine yet this song paints such a picture of majesty and fear that I feel needs more attention. Well done!!!
This is my intention, to share my love for certain concepts with others. And the God-Machine mythos of the Chronicles of Darkness game line is one of them!
Heaven's above, this is awesome! Definitely like the "Endless Chronicles of Darkness" bit. A fitting theme for The God-Machine. Between the Old World of Darkness and New World of Darkness, the New World of Darkness has my attention more. If only it got more attention...
I am glad you like it! 🙂Chronicles of Darkness game line deserves much more recognition. It is a shame that it's being abandoned in favor of the new, 5th edition of World of Darkness.
@@icefyer2 Yeah, currently only for Vampire: the Masquerade and Werewolf: the Apocalypse. You can check the WhiteWolfRPG subreddit for relevant discussions.
@@couragemind3963 I also much prefer mage the ascension. Technocracy are my favorite "villain" group in all of world of darkness. I love science VS magic as a concept. The way how view of the world can change it is also very interesting. Awakening lacks spirit in my opinion
Great song! But as a fan of first edition I must say that I didn’t like the idea that everything was happening because of a mad god machine for 2nd and onward.
I like to see it as adding an extra layer of horror and mystery, as well as another powerful force to be reckoned with, on the same level as the Exarchs, the True Fae, or the demonic forces in Hunter: The Vigil. The latter are equally mysterious in their origins and nature, implying a kernel of truth in the Abrahamic religions, much like the demons in the original World of Darkness.

Fortunately, Storeteller's Vault always has third-party content to carry the torch. 🙂
Goddamn this is sick!

@@couragemind3963 I hear you. Havent even touched V5 again when I realized my True Brujah lost Temporis 😭
@@couragemind3963 There's a 5th edition?

This is PERFECT
Thank you. I tried hard to convey the main concept of the God-Machine through the lyrics, without making them too cheesy or generic!
@@couragemind3963 I love how the music feels very eery and like listening to a massive engine
You should do a song for Requiem and deviant
This goes so hard!
Do the Strix next
As hard as the God-Machine's grasp on humanity... O_O
Great song! I am more of a fan of old world of darkness, but I always really liked changelings and god machine from chronicles
For my part, I really like the concept of Mage: The Ascension much more than that of Mage: The Awakening. War for the Consensus!
