"I didn't walk a mile in his shoes, let alone an inch." In the news, people would be quick to analyze the guy. Nicholas keeps it real when he shows us that "I honestly don't know" is an acceptable answer to a question.
That guy is on point with what he’s saying. Combat is not fun , because it’s mixed with incredible fear. And the fear is not just getting killed, it’s getting killed in a strange country and laying on the ground like garbage , and just being a number. As a conventional soldier, you die feeling like just a piece of a puzzle . But many people claim PTSD simply for veteran benefits .
Agree with this seeing my blood brothers got to war. With everything in life, PTSD is different for different people. People scam for benefits on all sides of the spectrum and shit hits differently from me to you. Not justifying this situation or can speak for somebody else but it differs.
@ well I said before, PTSD doesn’t make you kill innocent people. The only thing I carried with me from the war is that for 10 years or so whenever I came to an intersection in the city , I started to panic thinking a V bead was coming and I had to turn the turret quickly . But now simply being conscious of its origins I trained myself to ignore my fears now I don’t feel anything. These are things you can overcome on your own once you become strong enough to ignore your fears. But these PTSD reactions happen as reflex when you don’t think about it. But nobody who has time to think about it is going to start putting bombs in their truck or mowing people down. Combat missions are all about reflexes.
It's not fun because we see many of our American people get hurt or even die and we picture ourselves being in their place. However, I will say this. Getting attacked by mortar fire with machine gun fire going off simultaneously is a RUSH like one could never imagine. However it's not something that I would like to experience on an everyday basis.
@ well, like all men things sound exciting when you’re just sitting around the Barricks bored, so the combat missions are the only thing that breaks up the monotony. But when you’ve got to go into an abandoned police station, thinking it’s a set up or what’s worse - is when they tell you that insurgents are upstairs and your downstairs -which means you have to go upstairs and get shot. For me, that’s a level of fear that will tear you inside out. I remember looking at my squad leader, and he was sweating Bullets. Luckily, nobody was upstairs…..
Nick Irving is looking good and healthy! Love when he’s on vlad. Literally the only vlad interviews I watch anymore. His Shawn Ryan interview is super good too!
Wife left him sued for child support, his business started going under. He started other businesses and started going further into debt. I think this had more to do with it rather than the alleged PTSD
PTSD isn’t just from combat, PTSD is a trauma illness people experience it in multiple different situations in life that man was suicidal which is a form of PTSD it’s mental illness response
The fact that you had to reiterate something that we all know gives me the impression that you're a perpetual victim. You're the type to use PTSD simply to get out of trouble.
Not saying the dude was with the CIA. But u really never know what a soldiers status is in some cases. Even if u never was in combat. Ur always force to take shots and never know what's in the needle.
Son had the flag upside down lmao and they had his house prepped before bringing in a literal zionist “journalist” to tour the house before the feds even searched it?
I never wanna experience combat. Had a roommate that came back from Iraq and was fucked up. Was shaking so bad he would break up glass cups and plates my mom sent me. Talking bout big dog Iraq ain't worth the check. He also said due to the money involved they was giving paperwork if you came back to base with ammo. All ammo had to be used and dispensed before coming back to base. He said he was just shooting shit to get rid of the ammo lol. So I know innocent pple got hit. Creating more terrorist to fight.
Again I like Irving however I don't know what his obsession is with downplaying a veterans service issues. Its a rule amongst vets dont talk about someone else's issues cause you don't know what that person went thru theres vets who've been abused, hazed and sexually assaulted that have PTSD never saw combat. So if we use Irving and the interviewer (whom never served) logic just because they weren't on the front line gunning people down they're less than the guy whom scores lower on the ASVAB that is a Machine Gunner nor is anyone but Army, Marines and Spec Ops worthy of PTSD since those are the ones whom see the most combat? Get the f outta here you don't downplay another soldier issues cause you have no idea what that person went thru and this part of the reason Vets have the highest homeless and suicide rates cause you got people like Irving and the interviewer in the VA system working against vets cause they don't fit their ideals on what a vet is. Im not making no excuses for the traitor/terrorists but as someone who is currently going thru the VA theres a chance he tried to get help before all this got to him becoming a terrorist but the good ol VA probably was making him hurry up and wait for help. PTSD is just a overall designation of mental issues including Major Depression disorder. Again both vets turned their back on the country they served honorably and was willing to die for at one time but once you take up the enemy side by not only sympathizing but attacking the civilians whom you swore to protect you deserve death.
CBD/THC😂 I want to go to combat I come from the streets and Ive seen some shit but I never killed nobody or nothing but Weed just makes everything worse for me, when I was young I loved weed I enjoyed it so much.. but after being in the streets/trap ect. I get paranoid from weed Weed doesnt cancel your feelings, it pushes them.. weed makes you feel what you were feeling before but just stronger.. at least for most people So for me weed is a nightmare even tho I used to love it a few years ago when I was 14-17.. now Im 22.. When weed doesnt work for you anymore because it pushes your feelings then you tend to go to other drugs that actually cancel your feelings and thats a big trap .. sadly I fell for it.. And what Ive seen is a joke compared to what a soldier has seen in the field.. so I can understand the soldiers that come back from war and action and using expensive equipment and having a brotherhood and adrenaline everyday, to a boring and normal life.. I see why so many veterans get addicted to hard drugs sadly like Alcohol, Opioids ect… or the ones that get into crime… Imagine coming from action everyday, adrenaline in the highest, brotherhood, shooting people, getting shot at, near death experiences and then having to deal with Karens at Walmart and the boring life and driving a cheap car instead of a tank and people acting tuff not knowing what you did in your life I see why so many veterans get crazy and addicted to drugs and crime and violence Politicans and society are quick to let 18 year olds jump into the gunfight but dont catch these young guys when they come back full of trauma to their home country
Anyone who has a desk job, can never claim PTSD. That line where he said, “the most blood he probably ever saw was from a paper cut”. Gawd damn! Completely owned sooo many people.
@ Yes I agree, 1. Passport was found 2. He used to work for the government 3. They let a journalist into his house which looked perfectly intact after being “searched” by the FBI who cleaned up after, right? Lmao You useful idiots will never see what’s happening.
Y’all ever think Jabber was a hero and actually was rushing to stop the bombs from goin off that’s why they didn’t go off because he stopped them from detonating

This interviwer drags like a broken electronics, like bro get to the question, jeez.
For all of you watching, you don’t have to be in combat to have PTSD.
The fact that you had to reiterate something that we all know gives me the impression that you're a perpetual victim. You're the type to use PTSD simply to get out of trouble.

Some ppl are just wired differently.
I guarantee it’s definitely not fun, strange way to word that but I get what he meant, I’m sure it’s unbearably terrifying most of the time
