      That wasn’t her point. Of course they are both essential but healthcare workers/ assistants/care givers are full on 360 kind of, whereas physiotherapists just focus on the physical aspects and help with mobility. Kendra was being condescending about it. The lady explained it and Kendra still wanted to be dramatic…

  • @ariassleepstation
    @ariassleepstation ปีที่แล้ว +630

    Caregivers do way more than “wipe butt” they walk with the patient and help them do the exercises that the therapist recommends between therapy visits. The therapist also trains the caregivers on how to apply splints, braces and other devices so they can be applied between visits and when therapy stops working with the patient. Don’t relegate caregivers to “wiping butt” paid and unpaid, they do so much more than that. Salute to the caregivers 💖💖💖

She could probably benefit from talking to a professional about her feelings. Maybe she already has. Multiple ninjas broke into this woman's home robbed her, attempted to murder her, shot her not once, not twice, not 3 or 4 times but 9TIMES and she survived but will possibly never walk again! Then on top of that the man that she was with a considerable amount of time and had 3 children with left her because he didn't want to help her get well. He left her to raise their 3 children alone in a wheelchair!!! She is dealing with massive trauma and lost. A man has to take on a job as a nurse and “caregiver”, and part-time father to her son or kids, she’s got an attitude problem / hyper-masculine, she’s sensitive about her situation, and she’s clearly looking for someone to come out of pocket to pay for her experimental $28K stem cell treatment. And a man does that and she’s fully recovered guarantee she’s the type of woman to leave that man that all that money on her.

I can't believe the mean spirits and lack of empathy in this comment section. Whoever that man she was with he obviously was an integral part of her life, they had 3 children together, it sounds like he left her after she was shot and disabled because he couldn't handle it, that is trauma on top of trauma. She is not comfortable in the position she's in and seems determined to walk again which is normal. She hasn’t healed from her trauma, so anyone can get that attitude. You’re in a wheel chair , why can’t I tell you to roll back ? She was just telling ole girl teacher with the fro and bust out to stop rolling in the computer chair . I think Kendra gets specific in these cases bc imagine if she told home girl walk back a little so we can see your full body.
    But that doesn’t apply to her , so Kendra is avoiding making it awkward in that way .
